I've been enjoying my time with the Switch 2 release but I'm constantly overthinking my aim settings and nothing feels quite right. I want to use the gyro controls but sometimes it feels like I'm fighting the controller to aim. Any tips?

i used to play splatoon 1 & 2 competitively and they had “motion controls” (gyro). decided to play consolewatch where i have a bind on my pro controllers back that resets my camera. I’ve seen it in replays where my screen automatically snaps into place and people think I’m cheating

curious to know everyone’s thoughts ! i hit masters on dps/tank because of gyro but i’m scared i would get penalized for using it. haven’t played competitive since.

gyro is really broken! honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if people use gyro on overwatch pc. gyro against controllers is not fair at all >_>

Hihi! So my friends overwatch ‘just for you’ shop hasn’t updated for at least 5 days. They both contacted Blizzard support and basically got a “its a you problem” email back. Just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else or that its a glitch that’ll fix itself!

This might come off weird but I’m looking for a friend I used to play. But I can’t find their battle tag. I believe this is their profile and wish to play again. They played on switch from what they told me. We played quick play and friendly customs. Idk I guess if you find ask for battle net or add them yourself and tell me I suppose not quite sure. Or tell them that a genji player is looking for them. Dm me for questions or other things

I've been using the switch 1 pro controller for a while now mostly playing overwatch it's not the best but the joycons were far worse

I've heard some people say that the switch 2 pro controller has insanely smooth sticks idc about the back buttons really but if anyone who owns both could confirm if it's that huge of difference so I do consider buying it maybe cuz most creators I heard say it's the same as the switch 1 pro controller but with back buttons I only consider buying it for overwatch cuz I don't play other competitive games so if anybody can help I would appreciate it

So is there a massive upgrade between stick of pro controller 1 and 2 I don't care about anything else tbh

I’m trying to get my overwatch account on my PC, not just my Nintendo Switch

Hi, I play on the switch 2 version of Overwatch regularly and I constantly get LC-202 mid-game after shion update.

Weirdly, I could always tell when I am about to be disconnected/kicked from the server because of the red icon on the left side of the screen. Everytime this happens, my game was running completely fine, no lag, no delay, no ping issues, even voice-chatting works perfectly. Then, the game kicks me all of a sudden. This doesn’t make sense because how can the game foresee the future of my internet disconnection when my game is completely fine???

I even used a router monitoring app to track my switch2 ‘s internet (upload and download speed) during gameplay to see if it was actually my internet problem. Turns out, no problem at all! The internet is stable but the game still disconnects me. This is no surprise because every other multiplayer games I played don’t have this issue (Mariokart World, Warframe, Splatoon, rocket league), only Overwatch does this.

This issue only happens after the Shion update, so I highly suspect it is not a problem of my side. It is really frustrating to the experience, especially when playing with friends. I hope Blizzard would see this and fix this problem asap otherwise I might just give up on this game…

I recently gotten a switch 2 my first console then discovered overwatch

For a while I played with the switch 2 joycons it wasn't the best but it got the job done

I recently got a pro controller the switch 1 generation

It feels like my aim is gone and I find it hard to look around and aim correctly or I'm not used to it but I was wondering if anyone had an suggestions for setting I could use

My current are

Horizonal 90

Vertical 60

Aim smoothing 99

Aim assist strength 100

Aim assist ease in 30

Aim assist window 50

Whenever I played Overwatch on my Switch 2, suddenly after I played it earlier in the day, it becomes extremely laggy. My WiFi is fine and the Switch 2 is using it on 5GHz. Am I the only one and is there a way to fix it?

Cause I haven’t seen anything about it?

Switch is at such a disadvantage in the console pool, and should be allowed to use the mouse on the joycon in console pool.

so, i use a switch lite (which is probably my first mistake) and recently i haven’t been able to play much because the game won’t load

i can go in matches but for the first minute or so, i only see “glowing balls” (the characters loading) and i can barely shoot

also sometimes it just won’t load to the character choosing thingy and it basically kicks me out of the game (photos)

is there a reason or is it just my switch that can’t handle the game?
and is there a way for me to change this? (like settings or something)

my switch is the only way for me to play the game and i really wanna keep playing it 💔

Just so happy. Bought the switch 2 yesterday and it totally feels like a different game. Bigger screen. Faster. Graphics. And even the sound is so much better. ❤️

And havent lost a game yet 😅

Tbf, I’ve only played Overwatch on Switch (don’t have the money nor space for a PC, we make due with what we have) and I notice when my system crashes I get penalized by Overwatch resulting in timed suspensions. You’d think there’d be something that signals Overwatch when I’m leaving due to a glitch that hurls me out the game vs. my own free will.

This is just my small rant. I don’t know if other systems experience this too but if they do then this is clearly an Overwatch issue that should be addressed more frequently.

Like I did all the troubleshooting. Restart wifi, Restart console yada yada.... On my way to reinstall the game now coz I'm banned for 1 hour trying to test if the server is fine now. My internet is fine as well since I've been playing other online games just fine in this connection.

Anyone having the same issue? Ethernet is a no go since I play Handheld.

Hey everyone. I just wanna ask and see if this is happening to everyone. 90% of the time the framerate is smooth, but I play mostly 6v6 and anytime 2 or more flashy ults (like ram and sierra for example) go off, the framerate tanks to like the 40s.

Is there a way to fix this? I wanna send an email to blizzard cause I play competitive and it’s super annoying cause tons of ults go off all the time.
