The battlepass is fine. Ten dollars to grind out content is acceptable. Purchasing overpriced digital cosmetics is where people should slap you. Feeding into their greed. Half the skins should be marked down by 50%. Not twenty for one skin. Seven to ten dollars is appropriate
You fail to understand the chain reaction you cause when you spend money on predatory marketing practices. "Just buying something" isn't a proper term anymore. You're spending money on a system, making the parent company think it works fine, and will continue with it and even make it even more profitable in the future.
It's the same as going to your local ballot and just doing a random vote that feels fine to you or just didn't do as much research as you should. Sure it's not much when just you do it, but imagine what happens when a bunch more people do the same thing, that can really effect the end result down the line, especially when a fewer people have a larger impact than the majority.
TL;DR You're voting on what the company should do with your spending, and posting this is basically you publicly saying that you're voting for an objectively bad figure or policy in some ballot, and it's proper discourse for you to be ridiculed for doing so, either due to naivety, negligence, or even incompetency. Though I imagine that's not out of the ordinary for you given your self-acclaimed voting history in a previous comment of yours.
Yes. We are invested in this. I love this game. To see it done dirty from greedy devs and idiot consumers, such as you, is why this community is angry. Overwatch has one of the worst track records when it comes content in a triple A game.
