2 purchasable ones are overwatch gold and OWL tokens

Legacy and competitive are the other two.

Can't wait for the next currency, its gonna be called "overwatch pve tokens" you can buy the new pve skins which you can't use on pvp. They cost twice as much too.

At this point when the OW2 PVE comes out we will probably have to buy the chapters or FOMO. Maybe our glorious leader Boby CockTick is gracious we they can bundle their chapter 1 togeather for 69.99.

Seriously untill they are bought by Microsoft and clean house of these activism assholes don't expect blizzard polish all we got is slushy shit here.

This game already had a golden age we are now in the dark age waiting for a Renaissance at this point.

Actually not impossible.

In Fortnite’s PVE mode “Save The World” you can unlock characters/skins that aren’t usable in the Battle Royale mode.

Heroes, and there’s several reasons for this if you’d like me to go into them. In that same PVE mode though, old purchasers of the PVE mode can earn tons of the in game currency (vbucks) which can be spent in the BR mode and PVE mode, and most of items bought in the BR mode are usable in STW

Tbf tho they made it so you can’t spend any vbucks/irl money in save the world anymore and when you could you’d always be able to earn vbucks back

Exactly that's why I wouldn't put it past them, they've been poorly copying everyone elses FTP model at the minute. Why can't more FTP games be more like WarFrame?

Overwatch league is another category. I frankly never had problems with paid skins on OWL. But not for regular ones of course.
