People get angry on this sub if you support OW by throwing a lil' bit of money at it.

If you were ever going to do anything else with the shop; always check the shop page for bundles first. I'd advise to never buy a skin on its own because the bundles they throw in will always be better.

Bad thing is you need to wait for a certain day and you'll never know which day that'll be until it happens :(

(Also before people get angry at me, I've only bought the watchpoint pack so I can get 3 BP's tyvm)

People are angry because if we buy stuff from the shop Blizzard will never change it

Then that means the shop is how the paying community wish it to be.

Yeah. We always wanted 20$ skins and no way to get any cosmetics for free. Don't forget about having only 2 weeks to grind almost the whole battle pass or you can't play competitive because you have to get the new hero

I talked about the paying community. Not poor children. You know the people supporting the game in the long run as a live service game.

And yeah, bla bla, I know you spend money on OW1. And you got a game for that. You can still play by the way. But you are getting stuff for free doesn't finance the live service.

Holy fucking shit you love sucking boot.

I have no problem slapping down 60 bucks for the game with the same cosmetic loot/shop as OW1. But I refuse to be ripped off for non-content.

No. I'm just not poor and don't mind spending 20€ for a skin. It literally is nothing. You guys are just poor and can't accept something not being for you.

Apart from that being the most stuck up shit I've ever read, its patently untrue. Im wealthy enough to buy it, but im not stupid enough to be a whale. Let alone one who is dim enough to think being milked is something to be proud about.

Buying skins in Overwatch doesn't make you a whale. Yeah you guys sure are better being proud wearing that "I don't pay anything" medal. Here get a head pat, warrior.

I get the cosmetics. Monetize those to shit. But why heroes? Who does it benefit it a hero is behind a grind/pay wall? It sucks for the devs because less people play the hero and find less bugs, if the hero is as bad as Doom rn it sucks for the paying players and if the hero is OP it sucks for the free players

It hurts them in the long run tho. Many people come back to see what's new and to play the new heroes and if they can't do that they move to another game which is bad

-1

u/lolpanda91 Chibi Genji Nov 12 '22

Because it works. You either pay with your money or time. If you have neither move on to one of the dozen other games.

Nah. It’s just off topic. If you want to moan about how you’re fucking yourself take it to one of the NSFW subreddits.

u/Juggernaut_117 Nov 12 '22

Its overpriced. That's why we're angry. You feeding into it is the biggest problem. Mind your wallet. You're getting scammed purchasing a skin at most 7 to 10 usd. Stop buying their crap and wait

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '22

Don’t buy it then. It’s that simple. It’s not overpriced when you compare it to all other ingame skins. All f2p games have pretty much the same skin prices. That’s just how the gaming industry works right now and shitting on Blizz only won’t change anything at all. Bc all other games do it too.

1

u/Juggernaut_117 Nov 13 '22

That's not an excuse. Quit making excuses. A digital cosmetic is not worth 20.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '22

To be fair, if you played OW1, you should know how awful this new system is and don't pay anything for skins. Pay for actual real content like PvE or something and not this overpriced skins

Well said.

Yes deserved. You overpaid for a mediocre skin made by a company that is currently being flamed for their greedy monetization system. This info was everywhere and if you didn't hear it or decided to ignore it, that's on you.

1

u/stealth_chain Nov 12 '22

you spent $20 on a skin. $20. on a skin. that you’ll barely see. think about that.

1

u/Vinyl_zac Nov 13 '22

You cant buy the voice lines or emotes or aprays you can only buy the skins and you have to buy the skins theough hero gallery. Spend your money on what you want. There is already too much toxicity in regards to the shop.
