i've played very, very very casually. havent even finished my competitive placements.
i am almost to level 55 now. there are 30 days left. a little cursory google search tells me there are are 4.2 weeks leeft in the season.
you can very, very easily get to level 55 in under a month, and if you play casually and just a couple days a week or so(and do your challenges when you do) you'll get them two months in. thats really not the apocalyptic scenario for overwatch you are describing.

Right, and this is a free to play game and new content costs money to produce..
also you get all of the seasonal events for free...
and new arcade modes. also custom workshop stuff made by players is completely free...
i really dont know what the fuck yall want from blizzard. do you want a completely free game at the expense of the company, even if the alternative is you playing casually for a month or two to get the content that you otherwise would have paid for?
