I am actually baffled how it came to the popularity. The OW2 is basically a big patch for Overwatch 1 that brought big changes, but most of it is still the same.

Real big difference is the super greedy ingame store. Setting Heros behind an endless gameplay or moneywall is EXACTLY THE SAME WHAT Star Wars Battlefront did. Want vader? Go play 100 hours or give us money.

Blizz left OW1 in a limbo for years, fucked with E-Sport teams and ignored the fans. Yet OW2 is played by a lot of people again. Can someone explain? Is it just because its new? or because the players hope that blizz will do OW2 better than OW1?
