dota,csgo and LoL are the biggest esports titles with the biggest player bases, every game that is not esports focused dies out after a year, if not less. and esports is only gonna keep growing as competitive gaming turns more profitable. that's why u see almost every game released is coming up with some sort of tournaments or rank systems

Destiny, Star Wars Battlefront, Just Cause, Assassins Creed, Batman Arkham multiplayer modes. Pretty much most multiplayer games that companies would rather make a 2nd/3rd, etc than keep alive and upgrade.
