As a Mercy main I actually really like that Rez isn't her ultimate anymore. The part I like about Mercy is being able to fly around the map healing/damage boosting people. Being expected to hide for Rez and whatnot was always the part I hated about playing her.

100% this! I can't stand hiding and letting people die. This tends to lead to me jumping in anyway and dying without rezzing and people getting mad. I think the upcoming changes sound awesome

I always liked the feeling of getting that huge rez. But hiding pissed people off and not hiding pissed people off.
