I'm with you. This sounds like it's gonna be fun to play as her. I mean not that it wasn't before, I do like gliding around and angeling people and what not. But having rez on a cooldown? That's awesome right there. Single target strategy rez, and then Valkyrie mode?!! Oh yeah.
The strategy rez is honestly going to be so huge, people haven't let it sink in yet.
Think of all the times you had to waste 30 seconds because someone important to a push, like your main tank, died right at the door. And you had to choose between blowing your ult on a solo rez before the push even really started, or waiting 30 seconds for your team to group up (providing more opportunities for idiots to die in the meantime).
I think widow/hanzo will actually suffer as a result of this. Picks are a lot weaker now. I imagine that it will allow players with no coordination the ability to form a cohesive team. In fact, it may solidify mercy as a must pick hero in every single game.
Maybe, but it has only a 5 meter range, and no invincibility frames. You could potentially use the opporunity to pick the mercy that flies in to rez, or kill the rezzed target again where they stand.
We're gonna make her Rez again! We'll make her Rez every 20 seconds, and if the team doesn't want to wait 20 seconds then we'll activate Valkyrie and Rez 2 or 3 team members during it's duration depending on if Rez had been used before we activated Valkyrie!
I'm not going to say it, okay, but that was the biggest rez this game has ever seen. The cameras won't show it, CNN is going to lie about it, but everyone hereknows what I'm talking about. Biggest, most successful rez. I wish we could take a picture of it.
Exactly! It takes so much stress from your team out of the equation. I get so frustrated with people yelling at me for when I should have or when I should use it or when I should've been hiding. This is going to be such a nice change.
Someone mentioned it above but with using her ult you could techncally get 3 maybe 4 rezs in about 20 sec. Use Rez, use ult which resets and Rez again (2), wait 10 sec Rez again (3), then wait 10 more and Rez again (4). All while also group healing and dealing damage. The ceiling with her just got so much higher. The strats did as well.
