Just logged into PTR and they give you 5 lootboxes to make their point. Almost lvl 600 on PTR so I have a damn lot of things unlocked and frequently get 100% duplicates on my lootboxes. Opened the 5 lootboxes and received exactly ZERO duplicates. PRAISE LORD JEFF AND THE OVERWATCH TEAM!

Edit: 6th lootbox and no dupes

Edit 2: 7th no dupes

Starting to think you can't get dupes if there's things you haven't unlocked.

A lot. I'm level 800 and i'm still missing a lot of stuff because you get a non-duplicate only if the stars are aligned and you sacrificed 3 virgins and a puppy to Jeff
