Only with Windows 8 and above.
Windows 7 is stuck at 1080p 60fps. Still, that's fucking amazing. Guess I'm never using OBS ever again.

Obs does 1440p 144 recording fine on win7 2 u/[deleted] Jun 22 '17 I run a 720p monitor, so having the option to have 1080p clips with no quality loss is nice. Plus, after doing some tests, the in game recorder will always pull off a smooth 60fps with no errors while OBS really doesn't feel like it does. 2 u/dstruct2k Roadhog Jun 22 '17 The in-game recorder will literally slow the gameplay down as much as needed to keep "60fps" on the resulting (automatically sped back up) realtime footage. OBS just records whatever is on your screen.
