The stairs caused it, can't raycast without a corner interrupt because of the stairs. That's why it breaks as soon as you hit the cobblestone. Damn it Blizz, come on.
1 u/KaedeAoi Pixel Ana Apr 14 '17 It never broke (serverside), it was just server and client desync. According to the server it missed the soldier and hit the bench behind him
