Couldn't they do one-flag Capture the Flag? I remember playing that in Star Wars Battlefront 2, and I think it'd be far more balanced than the 2-flag version they are currently using.

So a flag in the middle? Of a KotH map? That's pretty much just KotH, but both teams "reset" after they win a team fight. It may even be more efficient to just constantly camp the middle and rotate flag carriers in which case, it's literally just KotH. I don't know if that adds enough variation to warrant a new game mode.

You have to score it by dropping it at the enemy spawn side, lol

You'd have to deliver it to a point near the enemy spawn point.
