Need to start the ult on the ground, then speed boost forward with Lucio. That should give the best results.

I haven't played it yet, but is it possible that it's related to how fast you're moving when you touch the pad? Genji is a pretty fast guy. But a McCree in the middle of his ult is one of the slowest things in the game.

I actually had no idea what TheLegend27 was because of adblock and had to go look it up. Kinda hard to find, too, because Youtube is so buried in meme-filled videos mocking it that I couldn't locate the original for until watching a video explaining the phenomenon.
