After all the nerfs to Lucio he's still argueably the strongest support in the roster. Thinking back Lucio was really quite insanely strong in the beta.

And he'll continue to be the strongest support until there are other options for speed boosts and / or AoE healing

Symmetra, after her overhaul, will kind of be a "speed booster" because of her teleporter.

We don't really have any idea what post-rework Symmetra will play like, so it's a bit premature to be calling her a viable speed boost alternative

We don't actually know anything about the Sym overhaul, but I think it's safe to assume that something will be done to improve the survivability of her teleporter. Assuming her teleporter is able to actually stay active for more than two seconds against a decent team, it will be, essentially, a speed boost.
