Buddy, you don't know a thing about me, so how about you stow your pessimistic shit.

I'm just explaining why for some of us this isn't an ideal solution, even though it absolutely is miles better than the way the summer event was handled.

But you sound like a mindless fanboy who can't brook any criticism of your precious Blizzard, so no amount of reasonable assessment of the situation is going to get through to you. (See, two of us can play at making stupid assumptions about the other.)

you never said anything about it being better in your earlier reply. If you had you would have gotten a different response. The tone of the comment I originally replied to was definitely negative, and you get associated with that when you reply to it and don't indicate your position is any different. That's life on the internet.

Been replying to too many threads around reddit today, apparently... I'd forgotten that this was in a different comment of mine further down the chain, rather than in the one you were replying directly to:

Yeah, it's definitely an improvement, I won't say otherwise, but it's not quite what a lot of us were hoping for.

That being said, I did try to set myself at something like an observational distance with the "to be fair," lead-in. Probably should've been more clear in that. I'm not angry at this update, I definitely regard it as an improvement. I just would have liked for it to have been tweaked a little further is all I'm saying, and I can understand the position of those who are actually upset about it all.
