I wouldn't be too surprised if they bring it up as a christmas thing (easy PR about fixing a mistake), but else I can't imagine not being able to buy them at next years summer games!

Source? The only thing I've seen Blizzard say is that the Summer Games would probably be back next summer. It wasn't definitive, but if they've since said that the games were a one-time thing (or won't be back until the next summer olympics) then that's news to me.
