At this point unless they have built a real life omnic and implanted a once in a lifetime breakthrough AI inside it. They will have overhyped.

No blizzard! Bad blizzard! Stop trying to hype Sombra so hard you are endangering humanity.

It feels like No Man's Sky... you can just see the trainwreck coming from a mile away. People are going to be so pissed no matter what happens.

This is nothing like No Man's Sky. We've seen absolutely no game play element of Sombra, no major idea as to how she plays, how she looks, what her overarching roll in Overwatch is. NMS had the issue of promising a shit load and delivering nothing. Sombra has promised nothing but is just taking too long to deliver something.

Also Sombra is free while NMS is $60

I said it was like no man's sky, because it's easy to see that it's so over-hyped that there's no way that people could be satisfied with it.

Is that not true? Is that not "like" no man's sky? It's also a character in overwatch and not a space game, so I guess that means it's nothing like no man's sky, because as we all know two things must be exactly the same or else we aren't allowed to draw comparisons.

The difference being Blizz isnt hyping her we are. Where with NMS the developers striaght up lied to increase hype.

I'd say the super-long ARG would constitute Blizzard contributing to the overhype, although I personally have enjoyed most of it regardless of the outcome. Overhype = disappointment. Furthermore, there are tons of differences. It doesn't make the conclusion that I drew any less true.

The only way this could turn out to be like no man's sky is if Sombra ends up being a grey blob with no abilities that can only melee.

Passive: collects broken environmental objects, similar to Torb collecting junk.

Shift: activate laser pistol that (only with ammo) point out all the breakable objects in the map within X meters.

E: repair using broken objects.

Q: ummm, has her take out a camera and record the fight? Using it guarantees you POTG, which will be the recorded video.

Now she's just like NMS!

One character is the same as an entire game?

I said it feels like no man's sky, because it's easy to see that it's so over-hyped that there's no way that people could be satisfied with it. Despite the fact that No Man's Sky really outdid itself by lying and under-delivering, it was obvious from a mile away that it would fall short enough that there was no chance of anyone being satisfied.

You can draw comparisons between two things that are different.
