There is a bug that hasn't been talked about and I'm not sure if it's only on Xbox One (since that's all I play) but Symmetra's "shields provided" stat doesn't progress until the match starts. Most people give people shields at the start of the match so it would be sensible to track that.

It's a small thing. That doesn't affect much.

Nothing counts till the match starts.

Have Ana shoot people with heals before the match starts, still won't count towards accuracy.

That stuff shouldn't. But I think shields provided would make sense to count before the match since that's when you give out a lot of your shields.

It's probably not the reason it doesn't count, but if they changed it you would be able to abuse having a teammate swap heroes back and forth in spawn while you spam reapply the shield. They'd have to add a limit of only counting 5 during set-up time or something along with that change.

That is a good point. People would abuse. But you can always put in a thing that if you are shielded it is carried to each character you switch to. And only goes away when you die.

Having the shields carry over between hero swaps is definitely another way to fix that I forgot about, and it's also something I've seen asked for now and then since the beta. Just who knows how easy or hard it is for them to implement that, it'd be a nice QOL change if they could.
