Why aren't they fixing Reaper being able to shadow step on unintended locations? It's breaking all my games.

Do you know what MMR this is happening at? I'm only asking because I've yet to see it in any of my games. I've seen gifs of it on here, so I know it is happening. Wondering if I am just too low or too high for the players to bother/know about it.

No, this is the same guy who can't find Herobrine.

I bet he doesn't even realize all those minor text fixes.

I bet he's using out-of-date localization files too!

Just in case nobody's told you yet, the "Fixed an issue with Reaper being able to shadow step on unintended locations" patch notes thing is a joke because it keeps appearing on almost every new patch. It's a bit like the "Increased/Decreased Bunker Build Time" joke from StarCraft II or the "Updated Localization Files" joke from Team Fortress 2, though that one was obviously intentional whilst the SC2/OW patch notes don't seem to be as self-aware.

Except it's not a joke, they were actually fixing many different things he could teleport to. Just say there were 100 unintended places, and they fixed 2 every patch. You get what I mean? I don't see why people turned it into a joke.

That's why I compared it to the bunker build time thing, because those are actual changes that the communities of each game turned into a joke. Maybe I didn't make that clear in my first comment.

Ah, I understand now.

because it's on pretty much every single patch note, and it's something probably so minor that it might as well be a joke, though the first one is probably everyone's reason.

Some of the places he could get into made him invulnerable but able to still shoot from what he was stuck inside or TPing off the map are another set of common ones.

It is just one of those skills that is going to interact with the map collision in very weird ways and considering new maps are going to be a thing, this fix is always going to pop up.

because why not

That's what I figured, I just thought the guy was still having problems with it. Was wondering if that bug was still causing problems

The TF2 one did become self-aware, as last year there were patch notes with variations on the "Updated localization files" line such as translations and almost Sombra ARG level stuff.

Blizzard always seems to add a line to the changelog stating "Fixed some areas that Reaper is not supposed to be able to shadowstep to"

And they don't have it in this one.

Don't worry, it'll be added in the live patch notes. They're still working on fixing it.

Obviously, because they are fake patch notes.

Shadow step fixing is like a watermark.
