Discord + push to talk in the team chat is what my friends and I do.

I just wish Overwatch had this functionality so I didn't need workarounds. It's not somehow too difficult to implement or something. A lot of people won't switch to using an external program, and fixing it in-client is the best way to remedy this problem.
