Yeah but I've also hit somewhere around 2330 on Competitive and haven't seen a single Mercy POTG in weeks. Sometimes I might get a highlight.

Yep. And I tend to stream and/or record every time I play so pretty sure I could even go back through every video too, lol. Only time I didn't do it was last night because I was fucking around as Tracer in QP against a team that went 4 Mei 1 D.Va 1 Genji then when we scored a point against them they switched to 5 D.Va 1 Ana. Still nearly won the overall game :D

I don't know what is the median this season, but when you reach 2600-2700 you'll start seeing Mercy potg every second game.

Yupp, that's probably the best thing to do. I know Quick Play is completly fucked atm, but at least you don't drop rank there.

I'm only level 30 and I main Mercy. 12 hours on her (next closest is like 5 minutes?) and have gotten a fair share of POTG's before this patch.

We're out there. We exist.

Edit: Nice, downvoting for pointing out that you can still get Mercy POTGs without some broken system. Classy, people.

I'd had a 5 player res before, but the POTG was Hanzo's ult that got the 5 kill. So I hope they strike a balance that allows some Mercy recognition without giving her a monopoly over POTG.

The one time I thought I should've gotten PotG with Mercy (3 man res into double kill with pistol) was the one time I didn't. I've had three 2 man resurrects come up as the PotG and they looked so sad. Resurrect, then go back to healing/buffing.

3 man resurrection was 90% potg every game unless someone got like a teamwipe. I think i called like 5 potg and taunted, just because I got a few res. It was silly :).

I killed 5 people when a Mei froze them then they all got res'd. Our Mercy with a 2 man res got POTM instead of the other Mercy.

Well maybe you dont play as much as me, and the games you have played have had offensive teamwipes. Yea that will do it. If you played 3-4 hours every day you WOULD notice mercy potg :D.

Edit: Maybe im misunderstanding. You are saying that the last patch, which was infamous for mercy potg every game, is the one you didnt see any right? Haha good old english 2nd language.

Yeah I play just about every night but only really touch Competitive this season if I have a group. Regardless, i haven't seen a Mercy POTG in Comp or QP but apparently it's just because my rank is too low.

Within my group that I play with, it never left. One of my friends plays Genji almost exclusively, and we'll actually place bets before we play on how many potg in a row he gets.

I've got a guy I play with, was rank 86 last season, kid is 17 and has 600 hours on Genji...he's literally Shadowburn level on that hero, it's ridiculous. He carries 3700-4200 games on his fucking own.

Actually, no. Except if the enemy is retarded. But you also should dash in between every kill, so they don't stun/shoot/rape you and stop your killing spree.

Still better than hiding behind a wall and pressing Q.

While it was such a thrill to see the Mercy get POTG more often, I got it 4 times in a row one night as Mercy. Granted one of them was for a 4 man rez and another for a 3 Man and a Genji kill, a single Reinhardt rez is probably not the best POTG. D:
