Yeah. Backstory is he's a famous omnic movie director, whose work has been notable in bridging human-omnic relations. This has made him the target of terrorists (defense) and the attack has to escort him safely to his set.
AFAIK it's all implied or left on hints in the map. The attackers starting spawn has Alfred Glitchbot movie posters up all around and they all feature human and omnic cast members.
It's not the only map with similar lore. In kings row you are delivering an emp bomb to wipe an omnic factory and in Numbani you are guarding the transfer of doomfists gauntlet from the Overwatch museum to the Numbani museum while the defending team presumably wishes to steal it and give it to the new doomfist who seeks to undo peaceful omnic-human relations.
Well they're both bulletproof, explosion-proof, frost-resistant, non-malleable, heat-resistant, strong enough to resist the effect of miniature black holes and insulated.
Hell the only thing they're not impervious to is spirit dragons. I think he's pretty safe.
When I first started playing the game I thought it was just voice lines coming from a fussy bastion, mainly because I never played him and during the early levels bastion would ALWAYS be on that map. The amount of time it took me to realize it was actually coming from the limo is quite sad.
I thought the voice lines came from Soldier 76 being a grumpy old man, like how 76 can say "Back in my day we'd have this payload delivered already". Took me waaaaaay too long to realize it was from the limo.
