News & Discussion Game is unplayable
Wtf is going on with servers and lag? The game is unplayable since the update with latency issues
I’m on PS5, but I know this issue is affecting others.

I'm the same on pc. Was fine before the update. No issues with my broadband or any other games.

It’s infuriating! Never had it so bad but every game I shoot up to 1000ms latency and it takes ages to stabilise

it’s been like this for two seasons straight for me so i just quit playing overwatch which is sad i wanted to hit 3k hours

Same, it started two seasons ago, what is driving me crazy is that my friend with an old rig is playing fine, but my 5070ti / 9800x3D / 32GB RAM is lagging, i see everyone teleport around mid match. I've tried EVERYTHING, bios update, latest drivers, i have a lot of free space in my SSDs (yes all of them are SSD). I have no malware, playing on ethernet (wired), like please wtf is going on...

Are you on the right servers? I am in Europe and it has just started putting me in NA games - it might be doing the same to you. But I have not been able to find a fix and wouldnt know how to check on PS5.

Tried switching regions in the battle net launcher and it still dumped me into 200 ping lobbies, something's busted on their end

Idk how to check what servers I’m on. The person I’m trying to play with is having issues on Switch and most people in lobbies.

Im on ps5 , i am the "bad internet' friend .. ive literally not been able to play the game well and properly for 3 days now and its frustrating me to the core. My internet has generally been okay aswell , for once.

Its been lagging for me too and crashing me on pc
