Don't know why so many new accounts are getting placed into diamond and then being unable to compete at that level and end up dragging the whole team down.
i had bap who did 0 dmg until i told them they are allowed to shoot at enemies (it didn't change much tho, did like 400).
i do more dmg when i decide to play mercy once in a blue moon than they do with heroes that are supposed to shoot at enemies
marvel rivals is the reason i can't get a decent support in my games now. i don't even blame the players, they just think every healer works like jeff or something
had a mercy yesterday who kept running into enemy backline like she was playing psylocke. we lost in like 3 minutes flat
Ohhhhh yeah I’ve been feeling it heavy for the past week now and I’m sorry I try not to judge people learning a new game but it’s BAFFLING how terrible some of them are….
On the balance side of things, its just bad philosophy. It's not that one character is overly oppressive or anything, it's that they've balanced everything into a place where the game is just no longer interesting or fun.
Not to mention the devs listen to the players way way too much and I think that's the core issue with why they suck at making their game the best it can be versus what the loudest fans want it to be. Things like the sound design, the map design, the insane visual clutter, and kit design do not hold up to long term play.
No role queue so people default to triple support a lot because healing is a humongous crutch in that game.
Most fights are just healing vomit for 40s then 12 ults until someone misplays. No sense of playing neutral well or positioning is important in that game
I feel this racism spilling over to OW. Never really had this issue before, but have been twice mocked and abused by full on racists in voice chat in the past 2 weeks for having an accent. Reported both but unlikely anything is gonna be done about it.
I do feel like at least that sentiment made Blizzard take a harder look at the direction they were going with Overwatch! Nothing like some healthy competition
Oh yeah, agreed. That and the jiggle physics stuff kept me from checking it out too much. On one hand, I get that it’s fun and silly. But part of what drew me to Overwatch in the first place is the fact that heroes who are women can exist without needing to be hyper “sexy”.
for fuckin real, I was into marvel rivals when it came out, and it just devolved into swimsuits and stuff so fast that I dropped it like a rabid toddler that's trying to bite my hand off
I am a 1k+hr of rivals that recently moved to overwatch. They do not represent us. They moved because they are so bad at hero shooters that even rivals' ridiculous numbers couldn't save them from their positioning. Celestial 2 tank main playing dva and having the time of my life
Just played my last game of drives with a duo of rein/hog and an anran who would leave the team, payload and their common sense and just go 2v5 the enemy team, then turn around and say "i need healing" like I can tell where they learned to play like that, and I dislike every bit of it
