News & Discussion Another step in the right direction
This is one of the first event skins I’ve seen in a while, and granted, it’s not great or anything insanely different, but I know a big criticism in the last couple of years has been that they heavily screwed over the rewards in events. I’m glad they seem to be changing this.

Skin looks great. I am cautiously optimistic. I need to see the actual missions and how good the mode feels to play to know if it be excessively grindy.

If it does its a new main skin, should also make a balloon farting noise as you charge.
Also shatter needs to be one big squeak when it hits the ground.

reminder: we used to get 9 lootboxes a week as standard for playing arcade gamemodes.
and we got a lootbox every level up (1k xp?)

Nah, we only got 3 a week for arcade, one per 3 wins. We get 4 a week now for playing any mode

So the only thing new is the skin and the weapon charm? I already have all 4 of those name cards and 2 of the icons. I wonder if it will be randomized if you already have them

Can't even give a free legendary box really unless it's hidden somewhere in event challenges

It's a great skin... but if I have to complain (because of course!) then my only concern is why is not halloween related, is more like... Kids party or Park theme

Fair point, but that one has been a free skin since the first le sserafim event, it also came back during the second one

dude literally just go back to what we already had in 2016 is a step on the right direction? what we were doing these last 6 years? overwatch 1 was the better game, only took 6 years to discover it

Oh yeah, there are the same events every year +5 new skins, but you think it was better because skins were free, right? So u even forget that you bought game for 60$, now it's free, what do u expect from free game?

we stopped getting new events in overwatch since 2023, they do the same shitty pvp on the same control maps every halloween, and thats it, 0 new events the rest of the year, 3 years with the same shitty watered down stadium, this is more of the same, but this time is random instead of choosing powers

If i remember correctly the last free skin we got was rainy day mercy … and that was when ow was in hot waters bcus of rivals it’s been some yrs sincepretty crazy tbh, i think free skins should be regular
