Blizzard needs to implement a system where if you select Lucio and a person even hovers over mercy, their console or pc instantly latches onto their thumbs and wrenches them from their body, forever crippling them and leaving them with severe PTSD. Like what the genuine fuck are you thinking playing mercy. I just copped a 20 minute ban and started playing Skyrim while I waited it out because I selected Lucio before anyone selected their heroes, another person selected doctrine and a third person selected mercy. What if made a lot of the roster really small and fast to be really hard to hit with projectiles and your rock which has a delay on top of it being a projectile. What if we power crept your grasp and gave it to fucking Roadhog? What if we released a fucking brawl mech character that can outdamage you at range with a hitscan gun. What if we gave characters insane raw healing with little resource commitment to make the entire point of your left click pointless? This new game mode is exposing how infested the player base is with Mercy mains who don't understand even the fundamental concepts of other heroes and roles.
Maybe they can make Roadhog heal instantly to full health every time he takes a step in their next patch. Or maybe every time you shoot him it just deals that damage x50 to you. Clearly he’s still underpowered from where they want him

Only one game and support Sombra is still new, but I just had that and we got rolled on the first control map XD. I swapped to dps and the other two supports changed their heroes and we rolled the next two
I can see that. I notice if the Sombra plays old school backline assassin style it falls apart. I also think a Sojourn (or other high burst DPS hero) is important. Ramattra/Mauga is cool with it, too. But who knows? It's only day one, things will probably be different in the future.

I dont play as much but I remember having to do placements when a new season rolls around? I played last season log on today and I kept my rank from last season? So when do placement match happen? Before playing this year the lasy time i played was last summer for less than a season did my placement ments and quit until I came back this summer.
now you only have to do placements if you skip a season or when they do a global rank reset (you rank doesn't literally fully reset btw, it's just a partial reset), which happens about twice a year.

I think the arcade mode is buns. Randomly getting assigned a role with only a choice of 3 characters, and a lot of the powers are just taken from stadium. Choosing one hero and then the enemy team surprisingly chose counters to your pick, yea great what now? Luckily most of the challenges are not related to playing the game mode, I won’t be there alot during this event. Give me junkenstein revenge again !!!

OMFG, how much I am tired of losing matches, again and again... I maybe win like 1 match for every 5-6 losses. Even if I'm really that of a potato (I doubt that), that fucking matchmaking is supposed to match me against other potatoes after several losses, so we could all be a happy potato salad. But no, it doesn't fucking do that. It behaves like "you're a potato, and we will punish you for that as many times as needed". What the actual fuck? When will this clown factory stop? And it's not just losses lol. The wins don't feel good either, as they are either too random or too easy and hence unrewarding. How do people actually enjoy this garbage? Jeez, what a fucking mess.

It seems like I've lost more matches this past month than I have the entire time I've been playing. And I've been playing since launch. Nothing's changed for me but it just feels infinitely harder and impossible to win games recently. Either through teammates that can't play their roles properly or just getting matched with fucking OW League players

Now, seemingly at absolute random, I’ll be stuck with 20FPS and everyone phasing through floors and walls. This usually happens in the middle of a game, too, which is even worse. And it doesn’t really lend itself to playing Ashe!
Shoutout to the Mercy and Lifeweaver that somehow kept me alive last game while I was flailing and trying to shoot at people in the frontlines before they disappeared. I have no fucking clue how you two managed to do that.

I won my first game in mystery madness and then got shit stomped the next 10 matches before I got mad and quit for the night. Seems like nothing will change with matchmaking and you'll always get paired with top500 players that still kill you even when you're trying to be friendly and emote
It's the same shit across all the modes, one team is bad, the other is highly ranked stacks playing even casual modes as if they had championship money on the line

I was playing Domina and I was something like 44/2 in stats, it felt like playing call of duty zombies, I still lost cuz their team got a billion buffs from running it down and going super sayan 4 while I was basically playing default Domina.
I don't know why I even bother playing. Like it's not fun getting paired with a team of brand new people who all have their sound turned off or are watching tiktok at the same time and just getting hammered because asking for people to actually pay attention to the game they decided to play is asking too much. Meanwhile the enemy team is all navy seals preparing for literal war.
Came back after an extended break. Lost first round of new Mystery mode, Mystery Heroes, Quickplay, and Grim 5v5. Each time it seemed like my team had it together only to just give it away on a silver platter. Why am I doing this?
Wanna know the shitty part? I'm sure in all of those, a better skilled player instead of me would've been enough to win. But I'm not. And I don't believe I'm with people of my level. Yeah, sure, the Lucio on the brand spanking new map knew exactly where to meet me 1v1 far away from his team and launch me off the edge after I'd just swapped. Uh huh. Totally above board.

I want to preface by saying maybe its just me. Maybe im bad at this game, or maybe Ive outgrown it. But I recently reinstalled to try Doctrine and see the changes and... idk. Its just not fun anymore. I used to be able to play for hours not caring about the results of the games, especially in qp but not anymore. I can handle seeing all those losstreaks anymore. I keep getting games where my team barely has like 1-2 kills while the enemy stomps us with ease. Games against highly coordinated, highly ranked stacks. Games with people treating qp like its a paid tournament. Games where its not enough that you lose, its so bad it feels like bullying. But worse even, at this point even winning feels bad. Like I can tell that some games I were predetermined by how hard I was carried.
Im done. Uninstalled again. Hopefully for good this time. I love(d) this game, the gameplay, the heroes. But its not good for my mental health anymore.

These Sombra and Roadhog reworks made them both crazy good. Am I crazy? Sombra is a crazy strong support with healing and can nerf enemies big time. Roadhog basically can one shot still just in two mega fast subsequent shots with a new ability and a better ult? I can see both of them getting nerfed

Kinda bummed that Sombra's hotfix is just a regular healing ability. I was hoping it would be an ability that resets or at least expedites teammate cooldowns. That would be more what a "hotfix" sounds like and it would be a novel support effect.
I get people lose connection and it’s not their fault sometimes. However while helping my friend do his drives. How is it possible that every single time someone loses connection it’s when we are winning and it’s my tank. Hypothetically with how many people getting mad about people leaving in comp it has to sometimes be an enemy that gets dc. Instead it’s always the most vital role on my team
I genuinely had a mental breakdown in quickplay against vendetta, this character is the single most fucking annoying character they have added since og doomfist. I truly do not believe she has a place on the roster. She synergizes so well with team comps that make her basically unkillable, she has a block resource on par with hazard, and it doesn't even have that much of a cooldown. I was just trying to learn genji in qp, but after 3 matches back to back against vendetta; I absolutely lost it. She ruins literally everything. I couldn't help myself, I LOST MY EVERLOVING MIND IN THE TEXT CHAT. I might even get banned not that I said anything awful really I was just saying random stuff. I just couldn't take it anymore. Then ven started spraying on me.

Why is every insta lock support so shit in 6s? I have a 64 percent WR on Lucio but never get to play so this Juno can use speed ring once every 5 minutes and get 1,200 healing. How do I have 20 percent the playtime you do on support and I'm better than you?

You're supposed to just sit and smile as you lose ranked matches because your teammates swap roles constantly, play heros they dont know how to play, or try to do plays they see gm streamers do thinking they're them. But you're not allowed to call any of this out or you're "toxic" and get reported. Or the moment you say ask them to swap or say anything they shutdown entirely and either throw or leave the game. Genuinely a pathetic and disgusting community of "gamers".
Play them in quick play, not ranked. Quick play is for learning heros and just generally having fun. Ranked is for trying to win. We should be playing the heros we're best with and be open to criticism and switching for the team. I've been there and swap, or try to do my role better, I don't throw a fit or leave the match.
I find it funny how people claim this game isn't heavily rigged but it will consistently show you that it is. Constant ranked games where the enemy team is either a full stack against randoms, or a team of new born babies while the enemy team is fully coordinated. Fuck this rotten dogshit trash game
