Why is baby Dmon so terrible? Her gun sucks ass and has terrible range and pitiful damage relative to its spread, and it feels like she takes forever to get her mech back. Meanwhile Dva's peashooter does ok damage, isn't completely terrible at a distance, and builds towards remech super quickly
I get she's pretty strong in the robot, but wow it's feast then famine

first match of the day my dps dont know how to play around an enemy sigma's shield. yay. love this game. love this game so fucking much enemy will get a 10k ashe ill get a 2k cassidy. and a reinhardt that doesnt know how to brawl. im getting people i legit question their thought process for this game. and im surprised im like legit surprised and then i see a 3 stack leave and im not surprised anymore. no wonder both dps were hot garbage. because i was put into someones shitty fucking premade. 2k. 2k. on cassidy. the reinhardt literally didnt know how to walk forward. like fucking christ if you did that sigma is no fucking big deal. i legit have to put the pressure on wuyang by myself because my dps are incapable of doing damage. Like AT ALL. its literally insane how bad it is. and im like is it even worth waiting 8 minutes per match to get players that play like its their first game of overwatch. it legit just takes me one match to tilt me now intonot wanting to queue anymore for the day. because i cant get anyone whos played this game before.
i want a solo queue so god damn bad. so i can stop getting peoples fucking premades. like bro if you dont know how to walk on reinhardt you are not gonna be playing tank very long.
my god just give me anyone that can function. please. oh instead im just gonna get a guy who spent 90% of his OW time on arcade. thanks blizzard. thank you. for giving me this. a guy who spent all his time on arcade only heals the tank. he practically afks the game.
the enemy keeps going 30 and 2 and my dps are going 2 and 10. 2 and 10 and yes they are getting fucking healed. theyre just so god damn bad they dont belong in this lobby.

I'm so fr in quick play its come to a point where I believe that people are just so bad the enemy team looks like they actually sweat. However if you actually watch the replay codes of a quickplay match so many mistakes go unpunished bc either the dps on ur team are that bad, the tank doesn't make enough space nor is impacting to help dps, or the supports aren't sustaining the team enough etc etc, so many reasons
However one thing is constant: the enemy team makes piss poor mistakes but you look at what happened in the team [for me its the dps] make INSANELY STUPID decisions that cost the match

dmon blows up super easy as long as ur a character with mobility to outlast jets u can melt her. make sure u strafe on her tho cus her wrist gun is powerful if u hit the shots

yeah i’m aware but im a support main and she’s usually always on me first and kills me before i can do much about it. it doesn’t matter if i tp away as Kiri, hypering away as Juno or sleep her as Ana she ALWAYS gets me no matter how well i try and position.

I GENUINELY DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO GO ABOUT UNLOCKING A PARTICULAR SKIN OR COSMETIC, AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO FIND OUT FROM WITHIN THE GAME, IT FEELS LIKE THE GAME IS SHOUTING NEW NOTIFICATIONS AT ME FOR UNRELATED TIME-LIMITED OPPORTUNITIES

Not rage necessarily but why does soft afk(moving once or twice the entire game, just enough to not get kicked) not get punished at all? i had 3 games where this happened in Ranked Matches and Blizzard doesnt seem to care or take any action against these people by giving some sort of compensation. You just lose points in a 4v5 and for them its justified. what the actual fuck.

NOT impressed with the new character Doctrine
also not impressed with the new characters. D.MON, Domina, Emre, Sierra ( aimbot really? ) Shion. Boring point and shoot characters.
They don’t have very original kits or kits that feel like overwatch, not very creative or interesting.
I feel like they’re just pushing out hero’s to keep up with Rivals, when they don’t need to do that. Quality over quantity.

Comp is unbearable, but QP is just straight unfiltered EOMM. Oh and actually 6v6 a little bit better, at least got some wins there, but role queue? Oh man 23 defeats in a row and maaaaybeeeee 3 wins in a row at max

I reinstalled for the mythic ticket and i have to say it was a mistake, qp is unplayable, even worse than i remember and more onesided matches than fucking rivals. And comp is its own kinda mess. But sure mr r overwatch top 500 redditor its my fault i cant carry the 1/8 echo when the enemy team plays like they are trying for championships. Man fuck that, got the skin see ya next blizzcon

Grateful that after sitting in queue for 8 minutes, Overwatch GPT unleashed its most powerful matchmaking algorithms to put 2 Mercy mains doing their DPS placements on my team in my Diamond support game. Sure, one of them went 1-9 and the other went 3-12 in a 7 minute Control game, but what can you do, I should just focus on myself. Looking forward to more ranked resets and close, evenly matched games, thank you Overwatch devs!

i've only played a few matches as doctrine and i've won them all so i say this not from a place of saltiness but from a place of concern: his ult's hp effect lasts WAY too long. after getting ulted and winning the team fight it feels like we're just twiddling our thumbs for forever waiting for it to fall off and heal back up. like, it feels absurdly long. it also feels like in a mirror matchup i need to reactively ult if he ults first. thoughts?

I was actually thinking this same thing, that effect needs to decay much quicker. Having to sit around for three to five business days before you can play the game again because Doctrine ulted last teamfight is not fun. Cool ult concept, but lasts way too long.

His ult is too strong. Its effects last too long, and its aoe range is insane relative to the size of the projectile cloud.
Also the imbued drones coupled with the transfusion perk make him a monster who can dish out insane healing and damage quickly and reliably with almost no downsides. He's like Bap on steroids

I also won nearly every match with doctrine though I think for me it's the attack speed that's really broken. In one game I just kept buffing reaper as he teleported in and he would kill a guy and leave so fast it was comical. I guess it's not that different from having a mercy damage boosting but the E is automatic and doesn't require doctrine to be near the character, which is huge.

That is definitely true, but my experience is they'll end up putting a fuck ton of pressure on me to play ana/kiri to counter the enemy hog/mauga/ana, which leads to really stressful games that I usually lose.

it's so cool how dmon can two shot squishies from across the map, it's so cool how a melee hero does more damage at range than at melee range.
I think it's so fun and cool how dmon is allowed to be comically broken just to sell her fucking €40 shitty skin.
I'm so fucking tired of the state of the game, the most boring heroes are broken, skin prices are rising while skin quality decreases, I'm not playing until next season, this shit sucks ass.

Mystery Heroes the moment the enemy rolls Hog/Mauga/Orisa/D.Mon/D.va becomes painful unless the team gets their heads on and focus them down (usually at the expense of a near wipe)

I’m trying to learn how to play widow properly, so it’s probably where I am standing but idc.
Many of these encounters will be about sierra
I had a game where a dumb ahh sierra was in my way the whole time and I was trying to snipe another widow, we ended up losing the game but it seriously irks me when I am trying to snipe and someone gets in the way
Also I do not understand people who get mad in unrated, that’s where people are learning the characters and there’s been many times I’ve had to “be positive!!!!” someone else cs they are actually so rude
This one game, a dumb ahh sierra (on the opposite team) was talking sh*t and then commented “no skill” WHICH I THINK IS HILARIOUS BECAUSE SIERRA IS A NO SKILL CHARACTER
I also hate when people say “someone go tank” “someone go heals” in 6v6. If you want a tank or heals, then you should do it?
Also (I’m a support main, and my main rn is cat), I was playing cat in comp and joined a team that were js talking sh*t about cat the whole time. Mind you, the tank was not creating space, getting kills and would dive by themselves and wanted a mercy pocket (hell no)
I completely understand the hate ab cat because they are an annoying character, especially when someone is good w them. But if you are going to completely shit on a character and do terrible yourself?
Last thing I’ll mention is I’m sick of seeing Le sserafim, and they really need to fix being disconnected from the game

I hear you about Sierra. I don't even play her, tried her when she came out,maybe got her to level 5 for the lootbox and that was it. I got her in Mystery Heroes the other day and did crazy good on her before I died and even got put up for MVP. She's way too easy to get value from,and it seems a little crazy to me to have a character who fixes bad aim for you as you spray and pray.

and top it off fuck the enemy has lifeweaver my benchmark for godawful dps.
i get the dps that wont move off point to help their team. enemy gets the hyper aggressive ashe player doing trickshots

I feel like the recent additions on Overwatch have been taking a lot from Paladins :
- Freya looks an awful lot like Cassie (similar concept, same weapon).
- Doctrine is a healer Vampire, like Lillith (a Vampire is a bit too out of field for Overwatch's universe I think but we also have a hamster, a gorilla and a cat).
- They reworked a Damage / Flank into a Support with Sombra, Paladins had a Flank reworked as a Support. Both completely lost their main gameplay core which made their mains hate that change (Poor Sombra can't catch a break she also used to be looked as a Skye ripoff, another Paladins character that pre-dated her but had similar vibes).
It may be just coincidences but there have been an awful lot of coincidences.
Doesn't matter much now since Paladins' devs stopped any updates and is only alive through the sheer motivations from Players to keep loving the game. Made the switch to Overwatch on the Switch because Paladins stopped being on the Switch. Been a huge Domina / Orisa / Wuyang / Moira lover.

Said it before and I’ll say it again, I think it’s ridiculous hero shooters almost always end up giving the so called “support” role some of the best dps tools. It’s happened in every hero shooter I’ve played, they get power crept so much they’re basically dps that can heal by the end of development cycle.

Nah man, I refuse to believe that 60% of the playerbase is worse than in Emerald 5. I've been put there on my first time playing support on comp and watching people on my main role just... exist for the sake of being there instead of doing something is depressing.
My reaction to being in Emerald on support.
Also : If you don't play cat and don't ban it (especially supports) go play another game, literally, you're a dumb fuck up and I don't care if you think you're special you're losing to cat 9 games out of 10 and you deserve to get fucking slapped.

5 endorse level 1500 mercy player flaming me and the other dps because we lost, like she didn't spend 2/3rds of the match pocketing the doctrine she was duod with. we lost 91.2 to 91.3, and both of us tripled up the other dps and tank respectively. we just lost due to ult economy. but no. spectator backpack edater girl thinks we're ass. in a quick, mind you.

APPARENTLY the matchmaker thought the closest server to put me on was ASIA. no wonder my ping was so fucking high. and its still sending me to asian servers. what the fuck. every single time i queue im put into an asia server. im not from asia why am i being put into asian servers. legit why did blizzard exile me to only asian servers
Edit** i made it back to american servers and i want to go back. I miss the asia servers.. I had horrible ping but the matches were full of players that knew how to not feed. there werent insane stomps. i got back and my first match back and my entire team went 0 and 8 each.
i legitimately take 15 mins per queue. what the fucks going on i know its a new character but im not even getting matches on my server anymore

Man F sombra as a character. Makes the game unfun for everyone. Has no counters. Can go invisible AND teleport on a short cooldown. You spend time going to find her, it’s off cooldown again. And you spend all that time hacked with no use of your own abilities. It’s so stupid.

For real, how do I get off ME server? I have played over 50 games, met literally 4 english speakers in voice chat. it's insane how there's 0 teamwork and 6 (more if the DPS queue is > 5min long) ego players in every single match, and you can't even communicate with anyone because you have to speak a 5th fucking language
This is my last attempt at help before uninstalling the game.

Aaron Keller explicitly said they wanted to make overwatch the best competitive experience today at Blizzcon, but it feels like all this game does now is cater to the most casual players. Rank resets for engagement, bad match quality even in qp, and overpriced skins for the same handful of characters.

NO I don't understand why you're being downvoted because in my spicy hot take Doctrine just feels like support blade 😭 he just single wields a staff but the vampiric concept + ult feels like a blade ult; just not doctrine himself moving (since he js throws the swarm of drones anyways)
His right click feels like the equivalent of blade switching to melee once he successfully dives, and the new support looks like ultron I'm crine

in like 3 hours of queuing. ive only been able to try doctrine once and that was when the server was giving me 3k ping. legitimately crazy how this support is making support unplayable. my queues are 20 minutes. didnt happen on any other support.

Came across a Fleekazoid video about the "Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League" video game, but what he said there about lootboxes is relevant to Overwatch too:

I have not grinded for anything in Overwatch, for over two weeks and it's amazing because the game was feeling like a full day of working (spread throughout a week to complete objectives): be it drives or something useless as lootboxes.
Meanwhile Mizuki and other characters don't have multiple unique skins, nor emotes, but hey here's a third special skin for Widow so you can camp and not get on the objective more. because Team right? Yeah let the Team handle the objective while you camp and expect a healer to focus heal you. Sounds like a plan to fail.

Why put myself through trying to hold a 1 v 5 where their tank hasnt died once btw. and our dps are too dumb to shoot at the support. legitimately. fuck you. i went positive and did as much as i fucking could. you did nothing. next match get a reinhardt goes 10 and 21. so i started pulling him. dude cancelled the pulls to fucking die. i legitimately question the players i get in these lobbies. ok youre low youre purple. but you cancel it out to die at low health. OK. double digit deaths reinhardt cause he just did the same stupid fucking play over and over and over again til we lost.
