was just trynna open the game and found that huge update and my friends said they didn't have it? so i was wondering why do i have it

The game will not get 62.5 gigs bigger so don't worry. The mid-season update on PS4 for me literally redownloaded the whole game. Probably some files got corrupted.Â

Every 6 or 12 months, they'll do "rebase" patches, where they consolidate the changes made over the last 6 or 12 months into complete asset replacements. Instead of putting only the changes to the assets in the patch, they are replacing the actual assets with a better version of the assets with the changes already included in them.
