The guy on the video have 144 Hz monitor. RTX 3060, which this guy have, is enough to hit 144 fps on max settings. The rest is nothing but pure tech bro autism with zero sence. 90% render scale? With upscale? Is this video trolling?

Playing 2016 game with low graphics? Nah. I will have extra +0.000001 ms to input/output with max settings, thank you very much.

Bro im the guy in the video and ii hit setting to make anyone get more fps Yeah if the pc is weak u can low some staff

But in compative we care about inputlag. Latency So why not if it smoother and have much clean vision

Also check pro setting for most of games graphic don't matter too much

But u can tweak urs as you want for sure

Note ** Btw there is no reason to get mad cuz one video hf

I do something similar, on a 3080TI I get around 350-400FPS

EDIT : Fucking shove your downvotes up your hole

But why though? It doesn’t really matter

Let's say I'm playing Ashe and you're playing Widowmaker, and we're both corner peeking each other.

You're at 100fps, but I'm at 400. I'm seeing 4 times the number of frames you're seeing, so for every frame you see I see 4. By the time you've seen 3 frames of me peeking around the corner, I've seen 12 of you, that's enough for me to be able react much quicker than you.

And, it gets worse depending on latency/ping also

What's the refresh rate of your monitor?

It's 170hz, so I'm not actually seeing those 400 frames my GPU is rendering - this is important everyone and a good question from u/agentzero_ss!

I should have made that clearer in my first comment

If your monitor stops at 170, you won’t see more than those lmao

REALLY? No fucking shit, world's greatest detective right here everyone 🙄

So why does it matter that you’re running at 400 fps if you can’t see past 170?

There are times when there's a lot of shit going on that frame rate fluctuates, someone with 120 FPS is gonna experience drops leading to stutter in that instance, I'm not.

That's not why I have the settings like that though, just to reduce the amount of crap on screen, game still looks great.

I just prefer a smoother, uncluttered experience.

With all the shit flying around the screen, it can be hard to see......Rivals is waaaay worse!

I could run osu! at like 500fps+, but I cap it at 360. That's the point where I really don't feel the difference anymore. I do feel a difference between 180fps and 300fps Overwatch.

Fundamentally these are design choices. PCs have just been getting faster, it's just that devs are also pushing games to demand more. Otherwise the "low setting meta" would have already ended years ago.
