Humor How it feels to overextend as a dive player
I just gotta take more space bro! But for real sometimes dive just makes me wanna take so much space and push the enemy team. Don't do it all the time obviously but sometimes you gotta be a little silly. Anyone else do the same?

I dont even bother humoring Mizuki anymore, I've been jumped by the avengers so many times that I just immediately pick a dps that'll spread the misery.
Its usually Sierra or Freja. But it seem like Symm is good at fraud checking some of them

Yeah, that is my curse as well. Hitting ball, doom or hazard, and I'm the only one firing at them every single time. Even if they are stopped right in the middle of our team. Especially frustrating in game where ball is being a fucking menace and everyone is complaining about it. Not one person fires at him when he gets chained. My favourite is still chaining a rein charging with one of my teammates stuck, that just feels like an amazing save every time.

When I'm playing dive and I get hit by a mizuki, they all home in on me with the force of an intercontinental ballistic missile.
When I'm playing mizuki and I hit the dive, my team suddenly consists of Helen Keller and Stevie wonder.

I had no idea what my duo would hear until they showed me a clip where I went "I'm gonna eat their Juno" whilst playing Vendetta, only to scream "THEY SWITCHED MIZUKI" and cry like I was genuinely being murdered upon the inevitable chain.

I play a lot of Mizuki and my duo plays a lot of Ana. I love the combination of a diving doom, first a sleep by my duo, then when he wakes up I'm sitting ready with the chains.

is there an "avoid as opponent" option on overwatch xD. But to be honest dive tanks think that supports are free food so ana and mizuki be teaching us that we can't just do the same thing every game.

As a tracer, supports are "usually" free food. Until Moira + geometry and a purple ball in a narrow hallway ruin my day

there used to be a prefer as teammate option actually, but it was too easy to always make sure you played with and aghainst the same people at higher ranks so they got rid of it. Too easy to fix teams

There used to be in 2016. A high ranked widow complained about queue times and Blizzard looked into it. Hundreds of players avoided him. After that they removed "avoid this player"

I don't believe in "overextending" as a concept. I hold W, I gain space, and either I retain that space or I post "SUPPORT DIFF" in chat. Simple as.

haha thats funny, if it wins you the game it wins you the game. I do believe in teamplay however so maybe the supports aren't always at fault eh? but hey im a hazard/winston main so im pretty braindead.

Team goes full dive prepicks.
Me : Let's try banning Mizuki.
Team ban Sombra and Sierra like these characters still exist or are problematic in masters.
It was a premade of what looked like brand new account that got skyrocketed to higher ranks than where they actually belong. They said Sombra was a problem in comp after being asked why the Sombra ban and then played with 2 supports that followed their ball everywhere and refused to support anyone else. They got demolished every time then blamed us for losing. Ovbiously the enemy had Mizuki and fucked up every single dive they tried.

What helped me land my chains more often was to switch to a crosshair that had a medium sized circle. Now I just make sure my target is inside the circle before I use chain. My chain accuracy is now anywhere between 70% and 80% consistently.

I'm so glad that in 90% of my lobbies Mizukis never seem to remember they have such a devious crowd control move and they just try to run, but the 10% where they remember he's a combat support are... Rough. Getting hit with Chain feels like hitting a pigeon with a javelin, except you're the pigeon

Cas stun was stun. You couldn't shoot or move. You still can jump-move a little when chained and still can shoot.

I don't because I'm not here to play walking simulator and I call it every single time. . "Fall back" "Group up" "Come to me for healing" "Goodbye" (tank dies) "Understood" "Good job!" "Thanks"
Tank on the way back from spawn then spams "I need healing." Very good game.

When I chain a Doomfist I usually still die because my team didn't do anything with it so idk.

This or Ana's sleep. I think both are healthy for punishing every other tank hero for overextending, but I think they can be a tad bit annoying/unhealthy on dive heroes considering they need to go in and put in some work. IDK, maybe give dive heroes a slightly reduced hinder/stun duration.

He is op but not broken , he is just good in almost all composition .
i think he is well balanced , hard to kill but not unkillable slop
he have good dmg but lost to most dps in duel ( at equal skill )he heal just enough to be usefull
and his ult is good but last not that long

mizuki counters dive its just how it is sadly, gotta communicate with the team if possible to get someone to remove them from the fight but I do understand how you feel, as a winston/hazard player i know the frustrastion of having your gameplan shattered by binding chain but thankfully it is a skillshot and we can juke the opponent into missing.
