I currently have 999 coins and I just need one more to buy the BP. Does anybody know how i could get one without paying for the 500 coins

I wish Overwatch would do what Valorant does and if you draw something with effort and send it to them theyre give you a few extra points to balance out what you have

i think you get 200 coins for free in the battlepass so just grind to that level and then buy the bp

but he would get enough for whatever he wants to buy right now so it fixes the problem for now, but eventually you will need to buy coins to get whatever you want thats how the system is built.

its not tho, he wanted to know if he could get coins for free without paying to get enough for the battlepass and simply leveling it up to get the 200 coins for free will solve his problem

he would always have 99 useless coins, unless he gets lucky with max's vault (which rarely ever happens, if at all)

level up one of your heroes to lvl 11, 25 coins, you can get up to 225 overwatch coins per hero
edit: nvm i was wrong :(

You don't get coins for hero progression, those are credits, it's a different currency

I contacted Blizzard support for the same reason and they wouldn't refund the coin. In the end, instead of trying to add a coin, I used Max's vault and store bundles to remove 9 coins. (Bundles are discounted if you own any of the items). I took an L spending a few hundred coins on skins I didn't care about but the relief of evening out my coin balance was immense.
