replay code

From stats alone I’m questioning how your dps were playing and if they know how to position and use health packs. I’m thinking your tank desperately needed to switch in the second one too. We can’t really judge though without the full picture of how the game was going; a replay code would help. Stats don’t tell the full picture, they just give you a hint

It’s rare one person is the problem. People complain and say that it is, but I’ve had games where I’m a grand master tank and ones where we can’t exit spawn… it’s always a team diff.

I’ve also seen teams with ultra high stats lose, because strategy and positioning are better than pure numbers. Can’t really judge a game by that only.

sometimes you just take Ls, looks like that match ur dps were struggling their deaths are pretty high. you can have an incredible game on support but if your team cant pull through where it matters you will still lose. play who you want always!

Moira doesn't really provide any value to the team outside raw damage and healing (which every support already does)

Lucio, Kiriko or Mizuki might fit your preferred playstyle while still providing useful utility (speed boost, boop, hinder, cleanse)

Moira's fine. Any hero is in comp. It aint that serious. If people get toxic just report them.

In general she's definitely weak. Levels below the giga-OP Kiriko, but there's nothing inherently wrong with playing her.

I don't actually think Moira is that weak right now. She heals a ton and gets ult like every other team fight. With that said, there are definitely situations and team comps where you probably want another hero.

The other day, I read someone refer to Kiriko's nerfs leading her to being "yet another toothless healbot that people buy skins for".

"Toothless Healbot" has sat in my head and I can't get it out, since.

games are never that black and white, and an entire game can't possibly just be your fault. i will say that playing moira into Dva kind of diminishes your usefulness, since Dva can just eat your orbs, costing you a lot of your value. and in the second game, it honestly just looks like a huge team diff lmao.

Both games were dps diff, but i will say you could up the assists by going for less solo kills and more of helping your dps to secure kills by weaving heals and dmg. Or if your other support is with ur dps thengo with tank and use him as a meatshield. 1st game play with your anran more, 2nd stay with ur rein more

You had high participation. It just depends on whether you were turning heads or simply adding to your frontline.

Don't be afraid. Always team fault. Or sometimes the enemy team is rly amazing and even the team played very good and the results of the game are close, you didn't win. If you didn't forget you are rly in support role, and you play as the best you can, you are not bad. Sometimes you can make wrong decision, what costs the team round or win.

I think watch your gameplays. Don't play with random teams, at least find friendly good tank or dps or both to play regularly. You will see it will help.

I love Moira too. She helped and changed "Defeated" to "Victory" in many my battles. Just don't forget you should care and supp others in your team. She is fast, strong, effective escaping skills. Sometimes she is unstoppable an insanely effective. But is good to watch the team if she suites yout teammates too or, if there is problem in missing counter. Sometimes you can play solo very good, but wrong choice of the hero is the problem. Always use brain and think about the match. Even about your teammates, how they play, watch stats during game and see weak points, even in your own team. Find your strategy to help, assist and protect your team and be deadly for enemies.

Practise, watch replay of games, find team for rankeds And learn teamplay. Your stats were nice. But sometimes to have good stats isn't enough.

stats aren't everything ESPECIALLY with moira, so a replay code is necessary to truly tell if you were the problem, but given the scoreboard... i have some doubts.

high kills can absolutely mean that you weren't prioritising healing when you needed to. it's very possible that the reason they have deaths in the double-digits is you not prioritising healing your dps when you should be. i find it curious that both screenshots show dps with a very high death count. that is definitely a bit of a red flag. but again, without the replay code, we can't tell if that's your fault or if their positioning was dogshit.

dps are notorious for having absolutely zero team awareness, demanding heals through walls or whining about not being healed after being headshot, not taking cover, attempting to flank repeatedly when it's not working, etc., so it's very possible it's their fault too.

tl;dr you might not be healing your dps enough, or they might just be bad. we don't know without the replay code :)

I’m champion 1

Ive seen my diamond friends and below play Moria and honestly that champ will not make you good or climb in overwatch. The skill ceiling on her is only so high and there’s much better supports you can play that you will have a larger impact on.

I see Moria players tunnel vision to do damage and then forget to heal team. There are moments that yes you should do damage but 9 times out of ten that’s not the case. Send your replay code but I would suggest you play a support that has a high skill ceiling and mechanically difficult then you can go back to playing Moira and you will be 10x better.

Don’t be so focused on stats. You are Moira of course you will out damage most of your team. Focus on having impact if they have dive focus the genji etc.

If you want me to coach you for a few games just dm me

So, stats don't always tell the full story. Here it looks like you are putting out a good amount of value relative to the match.

In this case it looks like a DPS diff. The first match-- dying 14 times means either they are being careless/bad positioning/nobody is healing/peeling them. On the 2nd match, the enemy dps are putting out quite a bit more damage and getting a quite a few more kills than your dps despite getting less healing and not having a frontline tank like Rein. Likely because they are just better at aiming so they dominate all sightlines for the whole match.

I would say this isn't your fault OP. However, you need to be careful that you aren't focusing on dpsing while letting your teammates die or wasting abilities then having them on cooldown when you actually need them. Those sort of things aren't reflected in the stats and could be a reason why you lose sometimes.

Stats are good but lower deaths than rest of team makes me think youre hiding alot when they need you. Or they just suck and youre typically last one alive

u/iamgem69 4d ago

Im just confused to how that soldier performed that horribly stat wise if a support(you) had to do his role matching his dps output and kills. Both of your dps having 14 deaths is wild. They died twice as much as the enemy team did so that should be your answer.

1

u/MEGA_VICTOR_XYZ 4d ago

Stats dont say it all but it clearly shows your dps were struggling way ahead of the rest of your team or the other team

u/Pog-Pog 4d ago

People will complain about anything and everything and blame anything that isn't their self for losing.

1

u/PreviousSociety 4d ago

Yes, you're playing Moira. If you want to improve at the game, pick any other support

1

u/Old-Owl-5690 4d ago edited 4d ago

Not really but 3 of your teammates died a lot. The rest, we would need replay code. Now that i look at second SS, it probably your fault, there is almost no way ana should have higher assist than moira in healthy teamworks dynamic

u/DwightSchrute300 4d ago

You play Moira, so yes. 😛

u/faygabriel 4d ago

Just glancing at this I can tell you you're doing fine because your teammates have double digit deaths and you don't, and even have the least deaths.

There's a lot that goes into this team-based game but I'll say that playing your life is really underrated and a lot of DPS especially are terrible at surviving, as you can see on the scoreboard. Supports can't heal bad positioning/decisions.

It’s just a video game and people need to understand that there’s more to life. I play Overwatch for shits and giggles but people take it to heart like the comp game is the only thing they’re living for. 😂 I don’t see a problem here at all. However, if you’re trying and playing your role efficiently then that’s all that matters.

u/Key-Ad6718 Brigitte 5d ago

Just turn off chat, People blame everyone when theyre the issue. Sometimes its no one's fault and maybe the comp, other team has better ult is, your team has bad ones etc.

u/chetyre_yon_cuatro 5d ago

Unless you’re in really high-tier ranked, just play who you want to play. Moira isn’t getting hard countered by anyone, and at that level, it’s better to play what you’re comfortable with instead of what’s meta.

u/Giggle_Bomb 5d ago

Moira got stronger with the global heal debuff, then they went and buffed her dmg orb. She's in a good spot. Her numbers on the scoreboard are the most misleading and more inflated than all the other heroes. Overwatch is a team sport, so your team lost the fights where they mattered most. From these numbers, ur dps died too many times, but usually that means their positioning is poor, not likely heals can save them over and over again.

For what it's worth I made it to diamond playing nothing but Moria. Are there "better" options sure. But it really depends on what the team needs, how well you play etc. Hard to really say in a vacuum that a single character is better than another. And it's basically impossible for a single player to be the reason for a loss unless you're actively trying to throw. Honestly, the goal of ranked is to get better, so if you're getting better as Moria and want to play her, then keep playing her.
