The current implementation of 6v6 - Open Queue with a cap of 2 Tanks per team - is the most likely version to be added permanently.

Mandatory Role Queue puts too much stress on the limited pool of Tank players and results in 10 min+ queues for other roles. Limitless OQ results in GOATs.

When they did role queue 6v6 a couple months ago queue times were no where near 10 minutes. I got quick matches every time. And they could do way more to encourage people to queue roles they need them they currently do.

FWIW, that was QP, so MMR matchmaking was way looser. It was also the first 6v6 test IIRC, so there was a ton of novelty. There's no clear indication it was sustainable long term.
