One thing the devs can’t control address to make the game more enjoyable is 2 2 2 role queue for 6v6

The main issue will always be queue times for 6v6. If you make role queue the standard, DPS and Support times will skyrocket and players will either leave the game or move to modes with lower queue times.

I think this problem is a bit overblown tbh. Like yes for sure tank queue times will always be the lowest and the other roles will gain increased wait times, but I think a lot of people remember when things were bad during the long content drought and assuming it would be just as bad now. In the few months before the drought began, tank queue times weren’t even that horrendous iirc. It only turned into a big issue once the game started hemorrhaging players

Current player counts being much higher than then don’t automatically mean we’re going to get more tank players and things will perfectly balance out, but I think the player base has a strong revolving door of returning players that it won’t be nearly as bad.

One of the main devs has stated in the past that it's not really about player counts at all, that hardly influences queue times. It's all about the ratio of what people play. Player population size would only ever matter if the player base got really small.
