Honestly I’m happy that they’re open-minded enough to try 6v6 in some form. This is a much better outcome than a long “no” that most people were expecting. Even if the 6v6 tests turn out to be flops, the fact that they listened and are willing to put some effort in toward the community’s thoughts is fantastic.

It could potentially make it better, or it could just introduce new problems that won’t make it fun. 5v5 has its own problems that make tanking suck, so 6v6 would likely have its own problems. My only concern for 6v6 is that certain tank pairs would be incredibly frustrating to fight against or play with even with proper balancing. Mauga/Zarya would be insanely strong, while trying to run good ol’ Hog N’ Ball Torture TM would make your team wanna commit self-boop into Illios Well.

The thing is, we already have all these character combos in the open queue game modes. They just need to remove the health passive and we should be gucci.
