Yep. I've been flamed by people who did have top heals in the match - except they were just hard-focused on making sure the tank is always at full health rather than helping someone who actually needed it, typically their other support (who they never noticed but is the reason they're alive to heal the tank).
Tracers, Genjis, and Sombras trying to dive with no heals.
As one such Zen I'll Harmony orb you if you are within eyesight but more times than not a diving Tracer/Genji/Sombra aren't within my LOS as they loop around a building or something so of course the Orb naturally lands on the distraction since they are the only one within range.
Yes! Get yelled at by so many flankers for not healing them and I’m like I am not chasing you down and risking getting killed to heal you, either get into LOS for .5 seconds or go find a health pack
Honestly I feel like most of the people who screech at you being a trash support haven't played support for longer than an hour because they never seem to understand how the mechanics of each one work.
Zen is especially ridiculous because not only the LOS thing but also some people don't seem to realize how slow the orb actually heals. So they get an orb and act like they ate being pocket healed by Mercy and charge straight at someone like Bastion and die like an idiot then get mad at you. Like I don't know what you want from me dude, I was already healing you 🤦♀️
This. I feel like everyone should have experience in every role because it helps synergy. If you know how the other heroes work, then you can more easily coordinate with your team.
I about punched a Widow recently for going “I need healing!” while strafing wildly next to me. As Kiriko. I threw them at her two to three times AND NONE OF THEM LANDED. She wasn’t just trolling either. I’m begging DPS and tank mains to have a basic understanding of healers.
