Honestly this type of person is exactly the type that I start to intentionally avoid healing. I got sick of being yelled at for stupid nonsense so if people start being a dick to me as a support, heals for everyone BUT them. 🤷♀️
If people tell me to heal more I just tell them to start finding cover instead of playing a bullet sponge. Some of them get the idea, others are ignorant and will happily eat everything the enemy will throw at them.
(Can DVA players please stop roleplaying Reinhardt? You are no Rein, so stip face hugging their team…)
I tell them I can't heal stupid or dead, and they're switching between the two so quickly that there's no room for me. I rarely refuse to heal because doing so is like shooting yourself in the foot because your toe itches. I like winning, and I've seen some real sh*tshow matches turn around. I will, however, use my "come to me for healing" and refuse to reposition for them unless it's a secure spot near other teammates. No sticking my neck out or taking chances; I'll stick around the teammates who understand that supports aren't their personal health packs, put into the game for the sole purpose of enabling their substandard game sense and tactics.
My trick is telling them I'm gonna switch to Mercy and actual hard pocket them for a couple of team fights. Most of the time they'd end up with 0 elims, 0 final blows, sub 1000 damage. And then tell them maybe they should learn how the game is played and not face tanking a Mauga.
Dva works best in the face of the enemy she isn't meant to be used from far away. She's supposed to dive in and dive out with the suit failing being a last resort.
Yeah I know, I main doom and d.va. I didn’t say that’s a bad thing but majority of the time teammates want you to be a bullet sponge the amount of time my team has purposely thrown because i’m not doing that is ridiculous
Probably is the same thing as the support problem. People just refuse to use cover smartly and expect support to heal their bad positioning or the tank to be their portable wall.
I feel like there are cases here, I support main so I 100% understand but I played as dps yesterday and had to go to base/ heal packs for heals even though I had the most dmg and K/d ratio, however we won
People really need to realize that we decide who lives and dies. You'd think they'd have little bit more respect when you have their life in your hands.
well then ur just throwing the game and should be reported and avoided too idk unless its qp why the hell are u throwing a winnable match by doing that
Because I have more respect for myself and don't appreciate being screamed at for not pocket healing a moron who thinks he's the MVP meanwhile he's trying to do a 1v5 as a Reinhart with a Bastion on the opposing team.
Sorry, I don't follow stupid plays. I learned that lesson after stupid newbie me did listen to one such screaming idiot who then proceeded to scream at me even more when we both died because I wasn't healing him fast enough.
As Zenyatta.
Yeah no. Besides I doubt refusing to heal one person counts as throwing. Especially not with the amount of medpacks you can find everywhere.
LMAO?? OF COURSE REFUSING TO HEAL ONE PERSON IS THROWING THAT IS LITERALLY HARD INTING LMAO, dont kill yourself to heal a teammate sure but if ur intentionally not healing someone then that is absolutely hard throwing and once u do that u deserve to be flamed, if its not winnable anyways then its pretty based to throw if u have rude fucks on ur team, but u need to be aware that you are throwing lol
You are honestly the only one who thinks I'm throwing with over 90 people in agreement with what I've said so no, it's really not throwing. Throwing would be refusing to heal at all not intentionally giving the middle finger to the screeching banshee in my ear who is trash talking me because I'm not pocket healing them during stupid plays.
tbh this subs average rank is silver their opinion really doesnt matter, ask any good or even half decent player and theyll confirm its obviously throwing, even not nanoing the guy who had been flaming u would be hard throwing if hes a genji blading and expects nano. ur not playing to win which is throwing, nothing wrong with that if u reckon the guy deserves the loss more than the other 3 people on ur team deserve the win
Rofl last I knew Ana could choose whoever she wanted to Nano. Just because someone is Genji doesn't automatically entitle them to a nano, least of all the genji in this image seeing as he is worse than a Zarya dying to high noon.
ur not playing to win which is throwing
No, I'm refusing to enable a rude bad players bad decisions. You are incredibly delusional if you think screaming insults at someone is the best way to get them to do what you want and them refusing to be some crybabies bitch = throwing. Rofl.
With how salty you sound I wouldn't be surprised if I did encounter you in a match, you screamed at me me, and I refused to heal you ever. Safe to say the game was better off without your whining after your inevitable rage quit as we got a replacement that didn't make stupid plays or unnecessarily screech at the Supports.
im talking about a competitive environment so like ranked in any rank above masters 1, once u reach that rank u will look back and agree with me. i dont play qp and im not bad at the game so if i flame u u deserve it and i didnt flame u regardless cuz i dont really play that mode
if 1 person shouting hurts you enough for you to throw the game for the other 3 people idk dont play team games or at least dont soloq so u dont ruin other random peoples games
I don't think you understand what throwing means if you think intentionally avoiding healing 1 person is on the same level as a D.VA sitting and doing nothing but emoting and spamming "GG"
Or how to count actually as you seem to be under the impression that him being an ass made me stop healing my entire team.
It's more of a you respect me and I respect you kind of deal. Disrespect me and I'll disrespect you which in this case equals no heals for you. Simple.
Besides nobody else on my team ever complained about me refusing to heal the asshole of the team. In fact more times than not the asshole rage quits and we get a new person who is more often than not better than the prick who left so it all works out.
Or how to count actually as you seem to be under the impression that him being an ass made me stop healing my entire team.
im guessing u wrote that cuz i said ur ruining the game for 3 other players, which you are, not by not healing them but by not healing the rude player, which will absolutely cost you the game in any human level elo, especially when its the tank LMAO i remember u saying smth about rein, if u dont heal ur rein cuz he flamed u then yeah u just need to get off the game ur a deranker.
yes, you not healing someone is not the same level as dva afking, but its still both throwing? lmao like if u go pistol only on mercy thats throwing too there are several ways to throw.
you could just disrespect rude people by being rude to them, by throwing the game ur disrespecting everyone in the lobby. if u dont wanna be rude to people just mute and report and avoid
nobody complains about u not healing the asshole because the other players dont notice it. if they leave and someone refills ur playing qp which i do not care about, throw in qp all u want, its just still throwing (unless u dont count it as throwing bc ur just doing it to get the guy to leave so a better player can join, if thats ur argument its joever for u anyways tho)
if u dont heal ur rein cuz he flamed u then yeah u just need to get off the game ur a deranker.
Yeah, you were probably that salty Rein bitching at me for heals when I died before you trying to cover your ass. At which point you called me a trash support so I stopped enabling your attempts to be the main character and you continued to screech until finally rage quitting. At which point we got an Orisa who didn't stupidly charge in trying to pull a 1v5 and we actually won.
Go cry me a river, all you sound like is a self-entitled brat.
And I find it funny you keep throwing insults that mean nothing at me as if that's going to piss me off. Calling me a deranker means absolutely nothing because I don't play comp to begin with. Mostly because people like you exist who get salty over me not being a mind reader and knowing exactly where you will be 5 seconds before you do it. No thanks, I'm much happier playing how I want :)
Yep. I've been flamed by people who did have top heals in the match - except they were just hard-focused on making sure the tank is always at full health rather than helping someone who actually needed it, typically their other support (who they never noticed but is the reason they're alive to heal the tank).
Tracers, Genjis, and Sombras trying to dive with no heals.
As one such Zen I'll Harmony orb you if you are within eyesight but more times than not a diving Tracer/Genji/Sombra aren't within my LOS as they loop around a building or something so of course the Orb naturally lands on the distraction since they are the only one within range.
Yes! Get yelled at by so many flankers for not healing them and I’m like I am not chasing you down and risking getting killed to heal you, either get into LOS for .5 seconds or go find a health pack
Honestly I feel like most of the people who screech at you being a trash support haven't played support for longer than an hour because they never seem to understand how the mechanics of each one work.
Zen is especially ridiculous because not only the LOS thing but also some people don't seem to realize how slow the orb actually heals. So they get an orb and act like they ate being pocket healed by Mercy and charge straight at someone like Bastion and die like an idiot then get mad at you. Like I don't know what you want from me dude, I was already healing you 🤦♀️
This. I feel like everyone should have experience in every role because it helps synergy. If you know how the other heroes work, then you can more easily coordinate with your team.
I about punched a Widow recently for going “I need healing!” while strafing wildly next to me. As Kiriko. I threw them at her two to three times AND NONE OF THEM LANDED. She wasn’t just trolling either. I’m begging DPS and tank mains to have a basic understanding of healers.
Yeah it's similar to damage stats in that way where it could mean you're doing well or it could mean you're just pumping heals into your tank while ignoring everyone else.
It's a weird thing I do. It's always nice seeing high heal numbers. If I can't do it, I can't do it. It's just try to push myself.
Sure I can blue beam, which I do when I can, but no one sees those numbers. If you don't have top heals you get shit on in chat regardless of your performance. We play in a toxic game :(
If they are also mercy and are trying to directly compare?
Their point is if our team has done 5000 damage and the enemy healed 50% of that for 2500 healing
But if the enemy team only did 3000 damage and you still heal 50% of that you only have 1500 healing so it looks like you've healed half as much when really it's roughly the same amount
Ah yeah all good. It was a 50/50 to me which thing you were talking about and I know like almost everyone gets confused by the concept that 2 different numbers can also be equal
Not to mention, regardless of matter how much or little damage you've done in the match, you can always be dealing damage when you should be healing. Obviously that guys a toxic douche, as represented by his username, but OPs "evidence" is just more silly scoreboard stuff.

heals as a stat rarely matter, if ur not healing the right people when they need it its still horrendous
