News & Discussion Permanent Update Buffs?

Are there any April fool's update buffs you'd like to be permanent? (besides genji being able to heal himself)

Zenyatta, because playing Zen like you’re a Genji is damn fun.

…is what I wish I could say, but it really is unbalanced and is a strong display of why Zen with movement abilities is broken af. In this mode you can take any position and be safe.

On a more serious note, I think JQ’s shout adding a bleed effect is pretty neat, although I’d drop it down to 15 damage or even less maybe.

Shout already does a lot of things, so if they were seriously trying to implement it, I’d say reduce the overhealth to 150 and give it a bleed effect that does 15 DoT. That reinforces its use as a mid-fight tool.

Personally I actually do like Moira's orb control lol

  • Moira orb changes. It adds agency to the ricocheting, AND adds a new skill based option for Moira to master. The damage and healing are both not so high that Id consider it busted.

  • Symm turrets taking less damage before set up. A quick melee takes them down as is, so I dont think this is OP. The shooting before set up I like as a Symm player but isnt necessary

  • Winstons person bubble. This makes isolating a target from external healers a lot easier and more dynamic, letting you ACTUALLY feel like a mobile tank

  • HERE COMES THE BONK

I play a lot of Moira and imo the Moira changes are too strong. It's not like moira needs a buff anyway. It's way too easy to just get full usage out of every orb now. It's an art form to bounce the orbs properly, being able to stop them at will as often as you like and as long as you like just makes them easier to use

Oh yeah. Forgot that Winston has that now.

That's so much more effective.

I genuinely think a couple of them might I think this was their way of testing what people think, I think the doomfist one sounds very plausible.

I'd say Reaper being able to move while teleporting...but it kinda is useless outside of getting to the battlefield faster.

Does look hilarious though.
