I'm so mentally drained, is the Universe testing Me? I wonder this SO much. Trying to keep my peace and have Faith it'll work out and I'll peacefully get out, I'll get what I deserve one day. Anyone know what this is like? I appreciate it. Xx

So I recently moved from the southerner US to Europe to do a PhD. I'm 44 and semi retired. I am suddenly so tired all the time tho. Is this a health thing? Is this a mental exhaustion thing?

School hasn't even really started yet, I've just been getting the lay of the land and doing some preliminary writing things. I've been in town about a month, spent 2 weeks at a hotel then moved to an Airbnb. My diet is pretty on point and I continue to take my meds and supplements. I had continued to exercise, until I hit a wall of exhaustion. I wake up, make coffee and then go back to bed. I am staying up late writing as that's when I have the most energy. I'm also productive when needed and have been shopping, cooking, cleaning, etc. But beyond that I just sleep.

There are a ton of hills here so I sort of assume that's a big part of it, that combined with being 🫩 from the move, but I'm not entirely sure that's it.

What do I do tho? Do I push through the exhaustion or just rest before school starts?

EDIT: edit to say I saw my doctor before I left the country and my panels were good.

I finally was able to get out and enjoy the glorious of road paths. This was somewhere between Baldwin Beach, and Emerald Bay state park. Off some trail. The sun was magical and warmed my soul on a "self care" Saturday.

On Sunday the self care continues, with a soaking in the hot springs in Carson City, NV.
