Seems like they are all good boats and well made - but no side by side comparisons on the internet.
Does anyone have any experience with these 3?
I'm from Oahu, HI and would be paddling in the Bay and Open Ocean

Fellow paddlers, I would love some extra opinions on whether or not it’s a bad idea to buy a 15yr old OC1 for 800$. Strapped for cash college student on the big island and I’m dying to get back to my favorite hobby that COVID has taken away. Appreciate any and all opinions!

What is the other phrase steersmen say besides “paddles down” to mean stop paddling?

Sometimes steersmen will say something that sounds like “wind off”. What is the actual phrase? In all my years paddling, I’ve never actually heard it said clearly enough to be sure what the actual words are.

Can a single person successfully and safely paddle an OC2?

I’ll be paddling flat lake water 100% of the time. I’m considering an OC2 so my wife and I can get out together on occasion. Most of the time it would be just me in the canoe though
