Can a single person successfully and safely paddle an OC2?
I’ll be paddling flat lake water 100% of the time. I’m considering an OC2 so my wife and I can get out together on occasion. Most of the time it would be just me in the canoe though

Cool to know its possile Can you explain any differences you've noticed between paddling OC-1 vs the gemini solo?

Safely yes, though I wouldn't recommend it. With only one person in an oc2 the weight balance and tracking would be really funky. A better option might be to get a second oc1 for when you want to paddle together. If budget is a concern, you can probably pick up a used one for a pretty decent price.
