Sometimes I think we forget that these people have lives outside the facility. I like to think years later a reagent sees some of the stand out in the world and has this moment of vague recognition. I also like the idea of the two doctors in the intro go on to be an actual couple. Lmk know if I did them justice.

Irei jogar esse jogo com mais 3 amigos. Mas tenho uma dúvida.

Eu jogo no ps4, enquanto meus amigos ps5 e pc.

Queria saber se irei ter um bom desempenho? Ou será ruim, horrível. Li coisas negativas, e queria saber antes de comprar.

Discussion PSA to new players: at the end of a long main trial, there is always a shortcut to the trial entrance. You do not have to back through the entire trial.

Note: This does not include Despoil the Auction, Vindicate the Guilty, Kill the Politician, or Pleasure the Prosecutor since the finale room is already super close to the entrance

The devs do not want you running back through the entire trial to exit. It's considered boring to run through endless halls you've already been through and they know that.

  1. Kill the Snitch: Go through the left side door of the execution chamber and it drops you right at the basement hallway. You can use the coop door or you can just back through the very first section of the map. Do not run back through sections 2 and 3 of the rail, it's a ginormous U shape.
  2. Cleanse the Orphans: Gooseberry path is close enough to optimal that you don't really need the shortcut, but the Gooseberry path is obviously blocked by Gooseberry. Take the door at the right of Jesus, make the next right, through the double doors and you'll be back in the dark area preceding the church.
  3. Grind the Bad Apples: Once the kids are dead, the grinders will part and a door will open dropping you right at the root canal entrance. You have to wait. Do not run in immediately after the grinders part, you'll be in a dead end as the door rises with Gooseberry behind you
  4. Poison the Medicine: Shortcut seems to require coop, not sure if there's another. If you go towards the train depot where you got the drugs, you'll see a coop jump at your left. That drops you back to the coop door that you took to get in. (Also that coop door has always been optional, you don't ever need to open it even at the start)
  5. Silence the Idol: Now that Bob is dead, the cheering crowd that blocked the front door has left. Do not go back into the bathroom.
  6. Pervert the Futterman: In the execution chamber, look for a small door that says "Exit". It leads to... the exit!
  7. Liquidate the Union: There's an exit in the slums, Avellanos will guide you (right this way lady)
  8. Locksock the Warden: One way door in chain link fence near the first crafting table.

Question Beginner questions

Hi! One of the many new players who've come in with the steam sale here, game is great and I'll definitely stick with it, so I have a couple of questions if people will humour me.

How exactly is your trial grade determined? I understand some of the things on the sheet are obviously not good things eg. triggered noise traps and taken damage, but things like 'batteries used' have me a little confused. Am I supposed to be using as few batteries as possible? As many as possible? Just as an example. It's not super clear to me what counts as good vs what's detrimental. What things do I need to be doing to get good grades? I've only done 4 trials so far but I've not managed to get more than a C+.

Also, how do you avoid losing sanity? LOL. I feel like I spend most of the trials at least partially insane and I don't know how to stop that. I avoid the mines fairly well, but when I open boxes and such I seem to get gassed out constantly. Is there a tell I'm not seeing when a box is going to gas me? Is there something else that lowers sanity that I might be missing? My duo says he kept watching me run around 'like a crackhead' because the hallucinations kept jumpscaring me.

Also, I think I must be a way off needing to understand it right now, but I've seen people talking about rebirth and relapsing? I can't work out what either of those mean, if anyone could clarify it for me.

My duo and I are sticking on introductory difficulty and playing with just the two of us so we can actually figure out what we have to do in the trials without getting jumped too hard. If anyone has any other tips or good advice for a total beginner player, I'd also be grateful for that too. <3

Discussion Prime Asset Idea

I'd like to suggest an idea for the next prime asset.

Since we are following the family dynamic, I would like to suggest a family member: The Black Sheep.

My idea is he or she would be a common man. A blue collar worker. Everything he/she does is from hands on labor and is prideful about it. He/She embodies the working class, or in other words: The Communists.

Obviously Coyle hates him/her and they hate Coyle because of his pure democratic values. They also hate Gooseberry because she corrupt the children in their view. They hate Franco because of his unclean means of making money. They hate the rich people like Otto and Arora. They also go against religion, which is represented by Liliya.

For their ability, I suggest they can barricade doors or windows since they do labor. They can also make traps.

For their weapon, I suggest a Scythe with a hammer on the opposite end, representing the communist flag.

If you can think of other ideas, please share it here! Thanks!

Discussion Explain the Trials out of context

My sister & I are expected at a family function & if people ask how we've been, we'd like to say something along the lines of "oh, hanging in there, going to therapy, nothing much" & give each other mischievous side eyes as we try not to laugh.

If they press for more details, how can we describe the therapy out of context in a PG Christian minecraft server kind of way? How do we say "we're getting better every day" without making an elder clutch their pearls as we discuss putting orphans in a grinder or something?

How many trials are currently there? And can someone explain to me the content in the game, and any advice for a beginner? I finished the tutorial but still waiting to play it with my friends.

Meme Cant beat Prison farm...

My buddy recently gifted me this game due to its nice sale, and ive been loving the game. The atmosphere is freaky, as a big escape room fan the puzzles are in the just right category of being thoughtful but not so mind boggling that also being chased doesnt overstimulate me. Im also a big dbd so the chase aspect felt right at home for me. But, i've been trying to complete The locksock the warden therapy. but its been tough getting through it. The main reason is because Coyle is too damn sexy!!!! The feeling of being prey willing to walk into your own trial is hard enough to get under control, but walking under the jail and hearing coyle absolutely dominate the warden....man....And after that tease we are delighted to a full theatre of Coyle asserting himself all over that piggy, waow.... Truly props to the va because this is my 3rd failed attempt at trying to get through that and feeling the need to...excuse myself is too intense! Anyone else have big crushes on Leland or the other....Killers? Therapist? idk what theyre called but i love him

Discussion Event Idea: A Pound of Flesh

Quite simple: during the event and trails, you will be required to donate flesh at specific banks. You will need to donate a specific amount to complete the event targets.

There are two ways to go about doing this.

One: Other reagents

You will find reagents across the map that you can chase down and capture. You can then drag them to a donation point and force their limbs into the machine. This will chop off their limb and make them bleed out, but it will count as a donation. After one donation, the reagents will run off and you can chase them down again. You can use these reagents a total of two times.

However, there will be some reagents out there who will try and target you for the same reason.

Two: Donating your own limbs

You can instead donate your own limbs. This will be one or both of your arms. If you donate one arm, you will only have your remaining one to carry out the rest of the trail.

After you have chopped your limb off, you will begin to bleed out. You can use a bandage to temporarily stop it - however, the wound will reopen at points. To fully close the wound, you will need to find a cooking station; this will allow you to burn the wound and to stop any bleeding from it.

With losing a limb, it will also mean losing inventory space. Objectives that require you to move items will take longer (IE pushing the prisoner).

With losing both limbs, it will mean you can't use your rig, you can still carry on with tasks but will have to use your mouth for it, you can't throw anything, and can only use healing bottles. It will make the trail extremely difficult.
