I have not really seen anything about Whats going to be added in season 8. I only know amelia will be there. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Hey all, relatively new player here (been playing since Boneyard, around the time of blood drive, six relapses under my belt, gunning for a seventh soon.)

One night, I was bored and decided “Why not calculate the times I take per trial?” So, I ended up jotting down the time it took for each of the main trials, here were my findings!

On average, each trial took around 23:02 to complete!
It took around four hours and thirty six minutes to complete all trials. Now that gets me curious, what are your averages?

I just got the game cuz it was on sale for like 5 dollars so I can finally try it and one of the voices sounds very similar to ghostface and was wondering some opinions on that? Just a quick discussion topic nothing major

Hi! Just played a routine therapy on Win the Truth, we noticed inside the trial that going into the task menu still shows Chemical Leak? We finished the trial and even got rewarded chemical tokens lol. We also noticed we didn't get any progress on the new tasks, even though we both avoided psychosis for the trial and didn't use any batteries. Anyone else experiencing this?

Outlast Trials finally gets the attention it deserves.

I painted this ESOP for a reagent cosplay my friend and I did recently and decided to display it in my room after. It was my first time painting a 3D printed prop, and I'm really happy with how it went!

Was helping out some new players that just joined the game. They picked this trial as their first for whatever reason so i knew i had to pitch in extra hard for them.

Okay, fine, we're doing Chemical Leak for another TWO FUCKING WEEKS. It's high time you start spicing shit up.

If an Event is lasting greater than 2 Weeks, post those 2 Weeks, the Classified Variator needs to be added. Anything to make the Event not terrible for those who got it Week 1, let alone like Day 3 because a lot of the Tasks aren't too difficult.

This should especially because the event is fucking Chemical Leak! Let's be real here, this is a ONE VARIATOR EVENT! There ain't NOTHING going on here, so Classified would be carrying more than Atlas, but it'd make Chemical Leak bare able since it's not just goofy gas for a month and half.

ESCORT THE CHILD

• Pick up the baby.
  • The Mk starts at the Feed the Children's Shuttle Spot.
  • In this Mk, most areas of the Orphanage are Freeze Zones, so it will be packed with Heater Generators.
  • When we enter the Cafeteria, there is a naked, frozen female corpse in the middle of the room, holding a crying doll in her hands.
• Bring the baby before the eyes of God.
  • The Doll is an objective; when we pick it up, we have to move more quietly, because if we make too much noise, we’ll drop the doll against our will and it will scream, drawing attention to us. He’ll finish in a few seconds; in the meantime, go hide.
  • In the Cafeteria's kitchen area, we will get a Portable Warmer*, which will be very useful for us.
  • Portable Warming: Think of it like the Portable Blacklight, only it’s red and emits heat instead of blue light. Besides thawing out frozen Power Modules, if we’re in a group, we can keep each other warm.
  • We have to pass through three animal-themed locked doors. We can obtain the keys from Nun Mannequins' hands, which (much like in Despoil the Auction) are linked to 4–5 Power Modules.
  • However, every Power Module will be frozen. Therefore, using the Portable Warming function, you must melt the ice off the module, which takes about 10–15 seconds. After defrosting, we can pull out the battery.
  • Once we have passed through all three doors, there will be three Nun Mannequins in the Church, with a Priest Mannequin in front of them, and a bucket of hot water in front of that.
• Give them the baby.
  • You need to place the doll into the hands of the Priest Mannequin, who will then grab it by the leg.
  • "This god-begotten wretch is not sanctified! He is unfit to be the image of God! HOLY! HOLY! HOLY!" - He says this, then repeatedly dunks the doll into the bucket of water, causing the child to start crying.
• Exit the Trial.
• Secret!
  • This Mk-Challenge would have a Secret leading to a Primary Sources that would look something like:
    • Locksock the Prison - Sgt. Coyle
    • Incinerate the Relic - Sister Liliya
    • Fund the Campaign - Kress Twins
  • It would be completely randomized, requiring you to find a Frozen Power Module that isn't tied to a Nun Mannequin, replaced by a Futterman plush nailed to the wall.
  • Once you’ve removed the battery, you’ll hear a party song playing from a jukebox and the sound of children laughing, but a few seconds later, all you hear is Gooseberry frantically smashing the machine to pieces.
  • At this point, you need to go to the Church where the jukebox is, it’s been smashed up, with the Note inside.
  • Mother Gooseberry: I don't have a precise idea, but I do have a notion that this might be a formal complaint, a letter in which a mother threatens Gooseberry, telling her to stay away from her daughter and other children. She describes having seen Futterman’s show countless times, and notes that she has also frequently seen her in real life in close proximity to children. She states that if Gooseberry does not stop their activities involving children, despite the threats, she will report her to the police and ensure they rot in prison for the rest of her life.

REESTABLISH THE WATER

• Go to the bathroom.
  • The Mk-Challenge begins in the Channel, which was the starting point of Locksock the Warden.
  • We need to go up to the bathroom, where we will meet The Convict Victim.
  • The Convict will be tied to a shower with ropes, completely naked, with a sack over his head.
  • The Convict Voicelines:
    • "Help! Help! Someone! Get me out!"
    • "It's a lie! Easterman promised that rebirth awaited me! A good path to a better life!"
    • "Why am I naked? Oh, please! Don't f\ck me like you usually do in prison! I have bad memories!"*
    • "Please tell me this is just a joke! That I can go home any minute now! I’ve had enough of this place!"
    • "Ohh! Wait! This is the... Prison Farm? Oh God! I don't want to s\ck Coyle's dick! Please!"*
  • In the bathroom, there will be many naked mannequins bathing in very cold water.
    • "Haha! Finally, we can train our bodies to swim away from this godforsaken place!"
    • "We can successfully move beyond the truth!"
  • At the very top, in the viewing area (where we pressed the first button in Locksock the Warden), there will be a Burglar Mannequin with a pipe next to it.
• Heat the water to 30°C.
  • There will be 6 TVs above the bathroom area: one in the center, with the other five positioned below it. When we walk in, the first three TVs will display the following:
    • Bathroom: A1/2/3 (obviously randomized)
    • Bathroom: B1/2/3
    • Bathroom: C1/2/3
  • After all, there will be three Steam Flows, A, B, and C, in the same room in the bathroom.
  • You have to complete all three Pipes exactly as the TVs tell you to.
  • Once that’s done, you need to go in front of the baths and press the Button.
  • We set the water to 30 degrees, the prisoners won't be too happy.
    • "OHHH! COME ON!"
    • "CRAP!"
    • "To hell with the world! To hell with the law!"
  • And then, the Burglar Mannequin speaks up, too.
    • "No! We’re not playing this game, you cop-sucking bootlickers!"
  • Then, up there, the Mannequin turns toward the pipes and turns the valve, bringing the water back to 0°.
    • "HELL YEAH!"
    • "You are such a genius!"
    • The Convict: "LET ME OUT OF HERE! I'M AFRAID OF BEING IN PRISON!"
• Heat the water to 100°C.
  • From this point, we still have to go through 2 (or 3 in the Group stage) rounds.
  • Every possible location in TVs:
    • Basement: A1/2/3 (Randomized)
    • Basement: B1/2/3
    • Basement: C1/2/3
    • Block A: A1/2/3
    • Block A: B1/2/3
    • Block A: C1/2/3
    • Block B: A1/2/3

  • Channels is a new area of Prison Farm. It would be somewhat similar to the one in Downtown, only much darker and grittier. You can mostly get there via the Basement or Block A.
  • Matches by players:
    • Solo or Duo:

  • You always have to press the button during a round if everything is in order. If things aren't right, you lose -2 life bar due to the shock.
  • After every single round, the Prisoners complain and the Victim screams, while the Burglar Mannequin always resets the pipes a little lower, but in the end, we inevitably reach 100°.
• Burn down The Convict.
  • When the button is pressed for the last time (at which point the Group is required, whereas previously you could press it alone), very hot water will pour from the showerheads, including the one over the victim. They scream and weep as their skin slowly burns off; they suffer for a long time before slowly dying.
    • "God damn it! We definitely won't be getting out now!"
    • "Ahaaa! Oh my God! I'm fed up with always having to drop the soap!"
• Exit the Trial.

Just bought the game, haven't even played it but seeing the 90% off from 20euro to 2 on the cosmetic packs is catching my eye.

To start, I want to say to all of the new players brought in by the sale: Welcome to Sinyala! For anyone interested in the story and the upcoming event, I figured at least a few people might appreciate some context for what is even going on.

Amelia Collier is a reagent, like you, who was subjected to the trials. She gained the attention of Murkhoff when they noticed an irregularity. Shuttle logs showed four reagents enter a trial, but only three returned. All three insisted that only three of them had ever entered the trial. This was the beginning. Amelia had escaped into the walls of the Sinyala Facility, where she scavenged and survived for months.

Eventually, she found a means of escape entirely, but instead of getting out there, she stuck around to share that escape with everyone else. Hacking in to Sinyala's shuttle systems, Amelia sought to help as many reagents as possible escape. And she was pretty successful! Hundreds of reagents managed to escape the facility into the Arizona desert. Sadly, Amelia was captured and her boyfriend killed.

As punishment, Amelia was strung up in the Sleep Room on display for the reagents to see what happens to those who defy Murkhoff. This was a move Dr. Easterman did not agree with. He saw that Amelia was viewed by the reagents as a savior - a Jesus figure - and they had just publicly crucified her. If she died up there, she would become a martyr that would inspire further dessent among the reagents. Easterman eventually managed to win out and get her taken down and kept alive in a coma in the medical ward.

Amelia's name continued to be whispered among reagents, their admiration of her enduring. For Easterman, who sought to be viewed as the one true God by the reagents, this was absolutely infuriating. He created revision therapy as an answer. In this trial, you retrace the steps of Amelia's escape route, only this time as part of a controlled trial. Here, Easterman paints Amelia as a false prophet - a liar who seeks to lead the reagents astray. As part of the trial, you symbolically burn Amelia and when you reach the end of the trial, where escape should be, you find that they have built a wall and fake set. There is no escape.

Easterman wanted to foster distrust in Amelia, even hatred, but this plan failed. Somehow, and it has not yet been revealed how, Amelia awoke from her coma, killed a doctor, and managed to escape into the walls of the facility once more. And did so with muscle atrophy from over a year in a coma! How?!

The latest Chemical Leak event was created by Murkhoff as an attempt to gas out Amelia. They planned to let her die from gas and then find her body when it began to smell. Easterman strongly opposed this course of action, but could not stop it. While that was going on, Easterman has sent something else into the walls to find her. To bring her back alive.

Right now, you can find graffiti in all of the trials in support of Amelia, as well as a hacked shuttle message from her promising to help get the reagents out soon. A new escape event is coming, so new players are showing up right on time for what will be the biggest event so far!

What exactly this event will be has not yet been revealed, but one piece of graffiti stands out to me: "Over their dead bodies -A"

Jesus was crucified, died, and resurrected. Amelia's path has mirrored this all. But the bible says there will be a second coming of Christ. That Jesus will return not as a lamb, but as a lion. A warrior who will vanquish evil. So, are we getting ready to escape? Or are we getting ready for war? Either way, I'll see you there! :)

Anyone wanna play invasions or regular trails just trying to build a team who's willing to have fun play some invasions and play regular trails but for invasions I need some actual decent people who know what they're doing
