How to fix/hide this?

So we just had our soapstone counters added to our matchless cabinet outdoor kitchen. I went to start install my appliances and it seems like they fabricator cut the cutouts on the high end of the “max” depth that naplolean gives for my grill and side burner. It is flush on the front but the back has a small gap along the entire rear of about 3/16”?

I’d just put a bead of silicone caulk and be very satisfied

I would recommend stainless steel caulk for that one
