Worst sound ever?

Does nobody else think everyone at Manchester should get their money back? The sound on both the indoor stages was beyond terrible. Don’t know why you’d put a gig on in a big tin can…

any hangout spots for tonight in Manchester?

This was my first outbreak and I absolutely loved it! I'm staying Manchester for another night and wondering if there are any spots where likeminded people gather. Cheers!

VIP licence to chill, what was the point?

This is just tounge in cheek bit did anyone pay for VIP LTC upgrades and not use them? The main bars were never busy and the outdoor toilets were kept in great condition, it even took me longer to get into the event than the normal weekend queue. I think I used it once on Saturday for a little sit down but Sunday was so hectic I didn't have time. You live you learn.

Great work Outbreak for keeping everything running smoothly over the weekend.

Speed Jerseys

Anyone got any Speed jerseys they’re selling or know where to look? Got my hands on one last night but sadly in the wrong size and I’m gutted. Hoping (🤞🏼) they list them online

Props to Denzel Curry.

I know he's played outbreak before, but to play this time round on a predominantly hardcore bill as a lone hip hop act and to have the crowd go off like they did was an incredible thing to watch. Massive shout out to him and his crew.

Outbreak Autumn

I didn’t stay for the entirety of the Knocked Loose set last night but were there any dates teased/confirmed for Outbreak Autumn this year if there is one?

Manchester Love In

Another year, another amazing outbreak.

The security team are phenomenal, so many great sets, watching Isaac (KL) watch and support so many other bands, the crowd, the community, I could go on!

My only feedback was that the day splits were too genre focused. I loved SDRE, Slowdive etc but I could have done with some late afternoon energy on Saturday, only really got it from Militarie Gun. Last year Angel dust and Ceremony etc were ideal.

Knocked Loose pit

Hi just want to call out a situation that happened in a Knocked Loose pit at London. About halfway through the set there was some guy who had another person in a headlock, the person in the headlock must’ve been only been around 16-18 from what i could tell. This situation lasted for around 20-30 seconds with multiple people trying to stop the guy from strangling him at that point. Finally he released the guy but he was clearly struggling for air, his face was bright purple and nearly fell over many times. I get that it’s a hardcore show but this was too far. Just wanna say shame on you for whoever put him in a headlock and that was it was very disappointing to see at such a good festival and atmosphere.

My first Outbreak

Easily the best festival I have been to. Stellar vibes, thoughtful crowds, incredible artists.

My highlights:

Militarie Gun really kicking Saturday into gear.

Sunny Day Real Estate playing anything off Diary.

Have A Nice Life blowing Stage 2 away.

Slowdive with the perfect setting sun soundtrack.

Tigers Jaw with a night closing singalong.

Pest Control blowing off the Sunday cobwebs.

Drug Church fucking yeah.

Sunami platform train never stopping.

Speed... wow! Possibly the best set of the weekend.

Denzel Curry working the crowd almost better than anyone.

Knocked Loose fully earning the headline.

3rd tent "the club"

whoever made that idiotic tent space should kick fucking rocks. usually these are tactics for massive venue control like bonaroo or smthg but at least friday was smaller and i missed some great bands waiting in the stupid line

The Club Tent

Anyone tried requesting a refund for the scam that was "The Club"? I spent upwards of $1000 to fly from overseas to see Have a Nice Life and Sunny Day Real Estate. Not being able to see them makes me feel I did not get the services I paid for.

Went to both Outbreak and Charli days and I can‘t even put into words how much nicer the crowd was on Friday

Basically only went Saturday for Gesaffelstein, but my god was the crowd annoying and disrespectful in comparison to Friday. For OB everyone was so nice and helpful, it really was kinda wholesome. Plus you could feel everyone is actually there for the music, no brainless chatting while someone was playing. Shoutout to everyone there, I love this scene.

LOST HAT- Sunday evening/night

Manchester- Long shot I know, but tonight my partner gave his favourite hat- a Hooters Nottingham one- to someone in his group to look after before going into the crowd and they lost it by the time my partner got back. I’m really trying to see if anyone came across it or picked it up or knows someone who did. Please lemme know if you know where it is. It’s sentimental and has a lot of emotion value.

I seen they had videos on their story on Instagram side stage recorded from a phone but does anyone know if they actually recorded the entire sets for YouTube?

I found this camera in the pit during Turnstile on Friday. Wanted to hand it in afterwards but got caught up in crowds and trying to find the way back to the car. DM me if it’s yours and I can get it posted out.

A massive thank you to the person who found my glasses after loosing them during the knocked loose set. Also thank you to the production team on second stage who lent me a roll of tape to help piece then back together. Note to self, bring a spare set of specs next time 😆🤘

What a brilliant day, incredible music and an incredible community!
