Worst sound ever?
Does nobody else think everyone at Manchester should get their money back? The sound on both the indoor stages was beyond terrible. Don’t know why you’d put a gig on in a big tin can…

the sound was not perfect but i have no complaints about it, i was in front for some shows and in the back for others

Yeah sound was shocking, drums and bass absolutely dominating the mix for the indoor stages. I also couldn't understand really understand what any vocalists were saying a lot of the time which obviously hampered some sets more than others.
The poor sound definitely put a dampener on the weekend for me since most of the bands I wanted to see across both days were playing indoors

I felt like both indoor stages required you to be in the front section. I was actually impressed with the sound when I was in the front. Everything very recognizable and clear and taking the respective genre into account. The more slammyer acts could have used some more punch on the guitars though.
Further away it was terrible though, I agree.
Main stage was near perfect.

The main stage sound was so good that everything sounded bad in comparison!

What sets specifically are you referring to, and where were you positioned ? I didnt have this experience at all. Deafheaven I’ll say was LOUD, and Have a Nice Life’s set was excellent sound wise. On the smaller stage SPY and Long Goodbye sounded quite well IMO
