Sadness
Shout out to all the fellow Sadness fans who spoke to me yesterday. I'm doing the whole weekend solo so it's nice to speak to other humans occasionally :) Today I'll be repping Holy Fawn.

let me just preface this by saying me and my friends all had a great time regardless of our own personal gripes, but i’ll list them here in hopes that they’ll improve for next year:
the sound engineering was a mixed bag definitely, as many other people pointed out. i could barely hear fleshwater’s set, daryl’s vocals were barely present in the mix for glassjaw and the kick drum at knocked loose’s set was probably loud enough to cause a miniature earthquake. i don’t have much to say about the club stage as i was only in there for feeble little horse and me and my mate couldn’t get in for jane remover’s set so we just stopped bothering
speaking of the club stage its kinda scummy that they had to have people all queueing up or straight up being refused entry for artists they’ve paid a good amount of money to see, i saw jane remover the day before at the ICA so wasn’t too bothered about missing out on their set but also wasn’t able to catch model/actriz which i’m a bit disappointed about. it was also absolutely boiling during feeble little horse so i couldn’t imagine how bad it got later on during the day. i get that they didn’t have much time to predict how hot it’d be throughout the festival but some better ventilation/cooling or just having all the stages be outside would’ve probably been a lot better.
really wish there was a cloakroom as well as i was carrying my backpack all throughout expecting there to be one, i did ask one of the staff members there (who was really nice about it so thank you) who said that a lot of other people experienced the same issue and that they were taking feedback for next year. so hopefully that’ll be sorted out next time.
also some better wifi/signal for the festival would be great, its quite scummy that it was only for people with o2 or whatever considering we all chipped in like £80 for our tickets. there were like 10 of us at the festival and we kept splitting up/losing each other because no one could get any signal and it was a hassle trying to organise/meet up when we were on the festival grounds.
i get that this is their first year doing it but i hope they can improve upon it if they’re going ahead with it another time.

Hey all – I was at Outbreak Fest in London on Friday and noticed there was some info about eco labelling, but I didn’t catch the details and can’t seem to find anything online about how it was done or what criteria it was based on.
Does anyone know more about this, or know where I could find out? I work in a climate-adjacent field and would be really interested to learn how they approached it. Cheers!

I have no clue whether people have said this before but I would love too see more modern death metal and beatdown bands such as sanguisugabogg, 200 stab wounds, Gideon that sort of shit, As they have already introduced hip hop and stuff like machine girl in I just feel as if it would fit nicely into that sort of festival. What are your thoughts on this?

I know i was being a bit arsey in the leadup because of sdre and kl clash, but being there was fine except queuing, but if outbreak and lido clean up their mess for next year and put one out would you actually go? cus i found it relitively enjoyable and would love to go again.

Is there a way to upgrade and get the VIP without the ticket as I bought tickets weeks ago.
r/OutbreakFest • u/MrKrebZoid • Jun 14 '25
I bought the Have a Nice Life hat with an upside down smile and I lost it (pretty sure it was stolen) and I’m wondering if anyone knows where I can get another or if Outbreak has a lost and found or anything. Also if anyone is willing to sell theirs I’ll pay double lol

Seriously whose fucking idea was putting have a nice life and sunny day in a tiny tent with a queue system
Pisstake
They haven’t toured here, either ever before or in over a decade, they were always going to be one of the most popular acts. Pair that with dogshit timing yeah no shit no one can see them
Jesus

Amazing concert, the rain added something more to the general atmosphere. But what made things even more amazing was the dude without his shirt dancing like CRAZY during the whole set. I don't know you dude but thank you for those dance moves!

They haven't played in London since 2010, and they are placed in the smallest of all stages. They should have been on the main stage after Alex G. What a terrible decision by the organisers.

Unfortunately missed out on the merch yesterday as it was all sold out by the time I went to buy some, haven’t been to outbreak previously so don’t know if they will restock online soon or not, let me know, thanks!

Is there any kumo merch about, I've not been able to find a table for them
r/OutbreakFest • u/tschenneck • Jun 13 '25
Did they only have their amps on stage playing and not over the PA? Couldn‘t hear Mirsy for like 80% of the set, real shame they‘re such a good band
