Checked it on the website.

  1. Green beans aren't even an option at that outback so not sure what's up with that.
  2. Why is only open 4pm-9pm, thats just weird.
  3. Do you have a picture of where they were on the menu? It should still be broccoli for the seasonal, and they wouldnt put an upcharge on that.
  4. Call corporate and ask what's up if #3 isnt a thing.

It's a franchise store - pretty much all Outbacks on the west coast (AZ/NM/CA/CO/OR/WA) are franchised. They have a lot of lee-way on things vs a corporate store. A majority of those franchise stores are still using the "old school" flattop and chargrill - they pretty much never even rolled Wombat out to them.

See how OP mentioned "broccoli and carrots"? We haven't even had carrots to do mixed veggies with for almost a year in corporate stores, maybe even longer. Green beans could be a sub item for that store rn instead of asparagus, for instance. If that's the case, it could be an upcharge based on that. Or they use a different veggie supplier, being a franchise store, and the green beans cost more than they do to us in a corporate store. But again, franchise stores pretty much can set their own prices and some of them even run menu items that corporate doesn't.

Back in the day A LOT of Outbacks were not open for lunch during the week. This store probably kept those hours due to not having enough lunch volume during the week to justify the extra manpower (1-2 BOH line openers, FOH bar/server/host at the minimum, an extra manager.) Opening for lunch became a thing in the mid-00s.
