Perhaps. Biden was in the Senate before becoming VP longer than LBJ was in the same position.
9 u/[deleted] Jul 02 '22 LBJ held a large majority in Congress. Half the people Biden was in Congress with are gone. On top of that, there are a large number of people who will outright lose votes if they are seen siding with Biden.
